The hotel is less than a kilometer from the Mingshi Pastoral Scenic Area ticket office, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The room amenities are thoughtfully prepared. The hotel staff are all very friendly, and there's complimentary tea and bottled water available in the lobby on the first floor for self-service. There are many restaurants nearby to choose from. The breakfast was pretty good. It's located by the road, so there's some car noise (but not many cars at night, so it's fine then). The soundproofing in the rooms could be improved; kids in the hallway started making noise before 7 AM.

First, I highly recommend this place because of its location! After arriving, I learned that there are two accommodation areas in Shuolong Town: one located at the Detian Waterfall Scenic Area Visitor Center, where visitors must take a sightseeing bus to the entrance; the other is right at the scenic area entrance itself. We chose Yinquan Mountain Residence, which is right at the entrance, making it convenient for dining. The owner even helped us queue for tickets, saving us the 30 yuan sightseeing bus fee. Secondly, the guesthouse is newly opened, very clean, and tastefully decorated. The shower water pressure is excellent, and the air conditioning is great! Thirdly, the breakfast is excellent. Besides set meals, they also have porridge, soy milk, and noodles. The owners and their family are very kind and welcoming! Highly recommended!

1. Amazing hospitality. The hotel owner, Shaowei was there to help us in every possible way. She brought us to see the panoramic view of Mingshi Tianyuan with her own expenses. She also took us to another place to watch native people’s dance, sing and bonfire after dinner. She also helped me to catch a local bus to another town. Her kindness was simply beyond my expectations. If I come back to Mingshi, the reason will be not the town itself, but Shaowei. 2. Flawless cleanness Everything looked to be built just now. Clean, comfortable and tidy. No smell of cigarette or whatsoever. 3. Decent breakfast Breakfast is simple but the taste is good. You can enjoy rice noodle, rice porridge and fruits with good tea and soy milk. 4. Great location The hotel is located close to the bus station and you can get on any local bus passing by easily. Good restaurants are everywhere nearby as well. Thank you so much for all the help and care. I really wish to meet you again.

The location is convenient, right at a major intersection. There’s also an EV charging station directly across the street, and the charging rates are quite affordable. However, the service could be improved. I received a phone call exactly at 12:00 PM informing me that checkout time had ended and that staying an extra hour would incur a 25 RMB charge. If late checkout is subject to additional fees, it would have been more considerate to remind guests in advance rather than calling only when the deadline had already passed. The hotel also wasn’t very busy during my stay, so it would have been a nice gesture to ask whether I needed a short late checkout or to offer a little flexibility. Overall, the staff were polite, but their service awareness and communication could be more thoughtful and customer-friendly.

I really liked the location – it's tucked away from the main road, so it's quiet but you can still see the lively street! The small soaking tub was perfectly relaxing. Just a heads-up about the large glass windows: privacy can be an issue as people on the street below can see in quite clearly. I personally felt the rooms on the third floor were a tiny bit larger than those on the second, but that's not a big deal. There's no elevator, and I felt a bit awkward asking the staff to help with my luggage. Breakfast is served across the street, which is very close. Overall, it's a good place and offers great value for money!

The location of this hotel, which I chose for my self-drive trip, was absolutely perfect! It's ideally situated, very close to Detian Waterfall by car, so we could visit the transnational waterfall anytime we wanted. We were also just a short walk from Shuolong Food Street, where we could easily find all sorts of authentic local snacks. It was perfect for both eating and exploring. We happened to be celebrating my child's birthday here, and the owner thoughtfully helped us set up a special birthday scene, which really brought the celebratory atmosphere to life. The room also had a balcony. Looking out, the surrounding landscape was stunningly beautiful, and opening the window revealed a feast for the eyes. It was a trip that perfectly combined beautiful scenery, delicious food, and a sense of occasion – truly a happy and fulfilling experience!

The hotel is very clean and new and we were welcomed with very friendly staff from the main entrance to the Front desk for registration. The hotel is very spacious with very relaxing furniture facing the scenic mountainous area. The breakfast is a balance meal with fruits and bun, served individually with choice of noodle or porridge - making sure that it is hot when served. The location of the hotel is also very strategic - just about 400 meters to the right is a food street with souvenirs shop and café and about 300 meters away is the Mingshi Scenic Area with performance at night. Generally we are very with our stay in Youjian Hotel .. will certainly come again if we have the opportunity .

The area is beautiful. The tent and tent area are very nice. My kids loved it! The receptionist Li Lin 李霖 and the rest of the team are very nice and helpful. Beds are comfortable. The pillow was too high for me, but my husband didn’t complain. If you are light and sound sensitive when sleeping, then bring earplugs and sleeping eye mask, because is a tent, of course. The tent I booked was very comfortable in size for two adults and two kids. It had two queen beds and one single bed. There is tv and amenities (shampoo&Co, toothbrush, shaving kit, hair dryer). Breakfast was Chinese style buffet, which we are happy with. The restaurant belongs to another hotel in the same area (there are several hotels in that park). You can order bbq set. Nice quality meat and veggies. I would recommend this camping area for any family with kids. There is a playground area as well and is nice to walk through the trees.

The facilities are complete. It's clean and hygienic, with an elegant environment and warm service. The handsome young man and beautiful young woman at the front desk are very responsible and told us about the tour routes and good restaurants. It's very close to the Mingshi Visitor Center. If you go out and turn right onto the main road, it's a 20-minute walk to the Yulinba Scenic Area. The breakfast is also plentiful, and the noodles are delicious.

Daxin Cunshang Cunsu B&B offered a fantastic experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with windows looking directly onto the stunning karst landscape. Opening them revealed a unique, picturesque mountain and water vista – the view was absolutely breathtaking. The owner was incredibly thoughtful, even providing a complimentary breakfast that was both varied and delicious. The only minor drawback was that the shower controls weren't very user-friendly; adjusting the temperature and water flow was a bit fiddly and slightly detracted from the overall experience. Nevertheless, I still highly recommend it.
