Perfect stay with sea view – 3 nights like a week holiday We were from 15.–18. April 2026 at Hotel Geranio au Lac and can only say: an absolute full hit! Our room on the 6th floor was beautiful – with a view that you would like to frame. However, we keep the room number for us... otherwise it is guaranteed booked next time 😉. We also want to highlight the cleanliness – really TOP, here is absolutely nothing to challenge. The breakfast buffet was unfair: always fresh, lovely presented and it was continuously dressed – so the start in the day makes great pleasure. Specially enthusiastic we were 24/7-Kaffeemaschine. A coffee at 6:30 p.m., without having to wait for the breakfast opening? That's our style! The friendliness at the reception and in the breakfast room was constantly top – you feel just welcome. Our dog was also warmly welcome, and CHF 19.– per day we find absolutely fair. Another plus point: the nearby parking house with special conditions – uncomplicated and practical. If you want to criticise something (you really need to look for), then there are two small points: The loading of the baggage directly in front of the hotel is a little complicated, since there are little stop options – here is a little coordination required. In summer it could become a little more lively thanks to the many restaurants and bars around –, with exactly this of course also its charm. Concluded: We're very happy to come back – perhaps even back to the ”secret” room on the 6th floor

何も言う事はないぐらい、 スタッフも感じがよく、イヤな思いをしなくてよかった。ただ、冷蔵庫があるのに、どちらかというと、 あったかくなっていて、全然冷えないのは、残念。 言って見て見ますと、言われたけど 全然良くなってなかったのが、残念でした。 立地も良く、遊覧船乗り場もホテル前からだし、 駅🚉も、歩いて5分かな❓近いです。

Top Lage, sehr nette Receptionistin, super Zimmer. Aber etwas hellhörig.

Transportation: Don’t follow Google Maps when you come out of the train station (it’s not very useful in southern Switzerland, so it’s not allowed). It took me half an hour to drag the big suitcase and walked several sections of gravel roads to the hotel. , Just walk along the shopping street to the street near the hotel and then turn right. This road box is also easy to tow, the road is wide, flat, the slope is not steep, and it doesn’t feel creepy at night, see Figure 1. I tried it and dragged the big box for exactly 12 minutes, which is equivalent to 1 kilometer. When I arrived at the hotel after dark and held the navigation, I couldn't point to the hotel. The reason I couldn't find it was because there was no one at night, so I called the wall phone and waited for someone to come and go through the procedures. The old lady's English is very reluctant, but there is no problem with the check-in communication. She helped me pull the big box up to the second floor and carried it to the luggage rack. When I checked out, no one took care of it. The keys were left for cleaning, so she didn't know to help. Watching me go downstairs holding the big box. The hotel is beautiful. It’s very convenient to go shopping and eat. It happened to be a carnival, and there was loud music on the corner of the street until the next morning, the old lady gave earplugs in advance, not necessarily that it was impossible to sleep. The last picture is for the guest. The old lady in the picture on the wall speaks Italian, German, French, but not English. She said that she can be punched on the card and the other who speaks English but when checking out (no one at the reception desk in the morning) beat her I couldn't answer the phone, and I had to trouble the old lady in front. So you can live if you don't have much need, and it will be difficult if you have a lot of questions to ask.

Great and clean Hotel and good breakfast. Quiet Place and Nice view from balcony. The staff are frönest and helpful.
