This place is a much older Motel 6 in lovely Bremerton. I chose a smoking room which happened to be on the third floor and walking up those steps covered in the green fake grass that were shaky was not cool. When I got to the room, I walked in and smelled straight cigarettes. The room stopped pretty bad. It took me until the middle of the night to figure out that it was due to the room next-door because there was a door between us. When he finally stopped smoking, the smoke finally went away and when he started again in the morning, it was coming back under the door. I called down and asked to see if I could bemoved and it was not possible. Unless I chose to be in a non-smoking room. But I didn’t realize the smoking would be 24 hours. Plus, the broom was pretty battered, but the bedding was good and so were the pillows. I can’t stand that Motel 6 only gives you soap now. Prices went up 30% and then they’re dropping shampoo and conditioner.
The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to the airport, the front desk staff are friendly, and a free breakfast is provided in generous portions to suit all budgets.
The hotel is relatively old, but the cleanliness is acceptable.
I missed my flight and had to stay at this hotel at short notice. The airport shuttle came to pick me up without a reservation, which was very helpful. They also dropped me off promptly when I left the hotel, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is under remodeling so the lobby is not looking good. But the room is spacious and comes with breakfast. There are dining and fast food you can go. Near to the airport with shuttle service is a plus.
This hotel is very convenient for a Seattle layover. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location near the metro is a plus. The 20% discount at the nearby Denny's restaurant was a good perk.
However, the front desk service was poor. They gave unclear instructions for the airport shuttle, assuming I knew the layout of the airport, and were hard to reach by phone, hanging up on me several times. Most concerning, they double-charged my credit card at check-in even though I had pre-paid through Trip.com.
Thankfully, Trip.com's customer service was excellent. I reported the issue to them, and they quickly contacted the hotel and secured a full refund for the overcharge.
The breakfast is very simple. Traffic is OK, free parking, free pick up and drop off. Closer to the airport, but the window sound insulation is better. Not familiar with things related to children.
