The hotel is conveniently located near key attractions: the Sultan's Palace, the Water Palace, and the Malioboro Promenade. They are all within walking distance. The hotel is clean, the rooms are cleaned daily, and the grounds are meticulously maintained. The single-story hotel creates a unique atmosphere of warmth and comfort. The hotel staff is ready to assist with any needs: exchanging money, visiting attractions, or purchasing a SIM card. We were asked about a convenient cleaning time for our room. The hotel has a small restaurant where you can order food at your convenience. The selection is limited, but the food is delicious and lovingly prepared.

The hosts are very nice and helpful. They really try to make your stay pleasent and give you all the helpful tips. But I have to write - place is very run down. Room ia big, but empty. Thw bed is clearly old and very uncomfortable, also linen is stained (that we found to be a big peoblem in whole indonesia and unaccaptable). The garden is also very run down and has a big well that is source of huge amount of nosquitoes (we killed 8 on our first day in room). The who place is dusty and coffee cups were not washed properly, so we did not use them. Breakfast is choice Indonesian or western. We chose Indonesian, but it was very strong flaviours for breakfast, so just be aware, also a bit too oily. This is not fault of hosts of course but nearby is mosque and its noise wakes you up at 4 am. The room with private bathroom was quite pricy and frankly not worth it, maybe cheaper rooms makes sence.

Overall, a solid choice for anyone wanting comfort, convenience, and a chance to meet fellow travelers. Would definitely book again!

So even though it's a shared area, you still feel like you have privacy. It's perfect for solo travelers, backpackers, digital nomads, and even comfortable for a girls' trip with your besties. What I loved most, of course, is the location. Just a few minutes' walk and you're right on Malioboro Street. Whether you're looking for late-night street food, souvenirs, hanging out at an angkringan (street food stall), or just soaking in the unique Jogja atmosphere, everything is super close. No need to worry about parking or extra transportation costs. The common area is also comfortable for relaxing or getting some work done. The WiFi is strong, the staff are friendly, and the check-in process is seamless. So from the moment I arrived until check-out, everything felt effortless. In my opinion, a comfortable stay doesn't always have to be expensive these days. The important thing is a clean place, a strategic location, complete facilities, and a place where you can rest peacefully after a full day of exploring Jogja. If you're planning a holiday to Jogja and your itinerary is mostly around Malioboro, I think **The Capsule Malioboro** is definitely worth considering. It's budget-friendly, has a prime location, and the experience is enjoyable. So... next time you're in Jogja, maybe it's time to try something different. I had a wonderful experience staying here with my family. Everything from the location to the facilities was top-notch, but a few things really stood out: The Food: The breakfast spread was impressive. As someone looking for Halal options, I was very pleased. The beef soup was absolutely delicious and a must-try! They even had a fun touch with popcorn on the breakfast menu, which was a hit. The Room: One of the best parts was the shower—the water pressure was incredibly strong, making for a very refreshing start to the day. The Staff: I am truly impressed by the service. The staff were professional, kind, and went out of their way to help us. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yogyakarta. We will definitely be back!

I happened to find a convenient transit place but even found grandpuri saron which is very good for an affordable price. Close to malioboro.
