Yogyakarta Hotels with Wifi

We love the location of this Hotel. Easy to walk to the nearest shopping areas. Breakfast spread is good although this is within the fasting period. Only one small comment is the Bathing room is very slippery when showering. I slipped and fall while bathing, lucky that I didn't knock on to the glass panel or the wall. Suggest to have bathing mat at the showering point. Overall for my friends and I are very satisfy with the stay at Harper Hotel.

I stayed for 2 nights. On the first night, the room looked good and clean when I checked in. However, cockroaches started appearing that night. They were still there the next day, even after I reported it and they sprayed insect killer. Eventually, I asked to switch rooms that night because I was so disgusted. They responded immediately and moved me, even upgrading my room. But I'm still traumatized by the cockroaches crawling around last night, and it wasn't just one, I saw three! 😭😭 As for breakfast, I didn't find it very tasty, though the variety was decent. The shower area isn't enclosed, so the floor is always wet and uncomfortable. There was one female restaurant staff member on the rooftop who wasn't great. Also, because non-hotel guests can dine there, the parking and rooftop restaurant get full from outside visitors, which was a bit uncomfortable. I hope they make some improvements.

Excellent service given by all staff of hotel. We had an experience where my sister had left her gold ring in the hotel room. They acted immediately when we Whatsapp and hand over the gold ring when we returned back to the hotel. Their services are exceptional very good

Nice hostel. Good location social for backpackers.  I had a great time upon check in but extending my stay a lady at reception was blunt and honestly quite rude and unhelpful when I asked for advice.  The beds are cleans and the showers only some are hot but the staff already know this.

The location is super strategic, the service is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. For a hotel class frequently visited by travelers, whether for a layover or a multi-day stay, this place is great. Even with small children, it's still very much worth it.

My stay at Hotel FortunaGrande Malioboro Yogyakarta by FOSIA was one of the highlights of my trip to Yogyakarta. The hotel’s biggest advantage is its strategic location. It is within walking distance of Malioboro Street, Malioboro Mall, local restaurants, souvenir shops, and Yogyakarta Train Station, making it extremely convenient for tourists who want to explore the city without relying heavily on transportation. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was cozy, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the Wi-Fi connection was stable throughout my stay. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room fresh every day. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing despite being located in one of the busiest areas of Yogyakarta. One of my favorite facilities was the rooftop area and swimming pool. The rooftop offers a beautiful view of the city, especially during sunset. It was the perfect place to unwind after a full day of sightseeing. The hotel also provides a restaurant, spa services, and friendly common areas that make the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of Indonesian and international dishes. Everything was fresh and regularly replenished. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with recommendations about local attractions and transportation. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money thanks to its prime location, comfortable rooms, great facilities, and warm hospitality. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Yogyakarta and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient stay near Malioboro. Read reviews and decided to take wife. Great Value, Breakfast was great, lots of Local options for this BULE to try. And enjoyed. Pool is great. Room cleaning everyday. We had a great time...Big Thank you to the Guys out the Front. Brilliant Service. Will be back.. Thank You

Very close to Yogyakarta train station and Malioboro. Breakfast is good. The room is very tiny so no space for big luggages. The worst thing is the room doesn't have soundproofing so we can hear the train sound all night (& all day) and the street & vehicles noises outside. I stayed for 2 nights and as a light sleeper I could not sleep for the whole 2 nights due to the outside noises.

Dont understand who gave good reviews for this homestay, maybe they stayed for the right price sufficient for this small house. Not worth more than 80K. I prefer to not review if not for few unprofessional issues. While booking this place, the price changed more than a few times from rupiah 120 to 250k. I never seen like this happen online bookings. So, i did not book. Many hours later the priice was down at 120k again. So, i booked. Then, the owner sends twice long annoying emails and a shorter whatsapp message (attached herewith) asking for pre-arrival info, a very professional wriiten corporate style. I ignored since those just did not look right. Upon reaching the place - not a corporate guest house but a crampy old home, the owner came out slowly and then just talks to my wife completely ignoring me. He kept chatting. Not a likeable elder, a little tricky i felt.. The room was very small with a type of bed that is just good for a few hours sleep. No water bottles, tissues or new soap. Poor room lighting matched the purpose. In the night one someone plays the TV so loud right next to the room for a long time until i requested him to lower volume. Almost midnight a few guests were tslking so loud right there for a long time knowing we were sleeping. We left early the next day.
