"The homestay is upstairs in Wanda Plaza. The rooms are large but the hygiene is poor. There are cockroaches in the bathroom and the room, and there are bugs in the room. I stayed there for two days and was bitten by bugs for two days. Redness and swelling appeared immediately after the bite, and it took two days for the swelling to subside. I suggest that the owner of the B&B should do a good job of hygiene!"

"The hotel is rubbish. I don't know why the WiFi can't be connected. The TV keeps skipping ads. The Internet TV is laggy and I can't watch anything. The disposable towels in the bathroom cost ¥10, and it's not marked. Other hotels give disposable towels for free, but they charge for them. The air conditioner is the central air conditioner, and it doesn't work even when it's turned on. It may be because of the room I stayed in. There were people talking there late at night. (The room I stayed in was next to their staff dormitory.) In one word, ”bad”"

"The sanitation is too bad. The toilet is not cleaned, there are hairs in the sink, there are cockroaches in the room, and even on the bedside table.
The facilities are quite complete, and everything is there.
I found customer service to report the sanitation problem and the attitude was OK. We negotiated a solution. The bed is also pretty good and soft.
The only shortcoming of this trip is the sanitation. If the sanitation is handled well, it will be a good travel experience."

MM645086****We booked a terrace room and balcony room for 6 people, including 2 over 60 years old and 2 over 70 years old. Because we felt good, we decided to stay one more day. The off-season gave us the opportunity to improvise and ”customize” :P The B&B has a good location, close to the beach, the central district, the Mazu Ancestral Temple, and the Tianfei Hometown. The public areas, rooms, and supplies in the rooms are clean and tidy. You can drink tea in the public area and enjoy the scenery on the terrace. The boss's family is kind, enthusiastic and thoughtful. We chartered an additional sightseeing bus for the boss, which made it convenient and less tiring for the elderly to travel. The boss and his wife prepared breakfast for us, and considering the elderly's physical condition, they also helped us recommend restaurants, introduce scenic spots, rent small electric motorcycles, etc. Since we wanted to cook our own meals, the boss took us to the vegetable market. We borrowed the kitchen and cooked delicious seafood. Afterwards, we washed the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen. We felt as comfortable as at home. Very satisfied with the homestay, recommended!

There are even disposable toilet seats in the bathroom, which is much better than other B&Bs. It was very quiet at night, the bed was comfortable and I slept soundly. The Rainbow Road by the sea is very beautiful. You can drink tea on the balcony and enjoy the sea view, which is very comfortable. The boss and his wife are warm and attentive in their service. The soy milk for breakfast is freshly made every day and is very delicious. As soon as you drink it, you can tell that it is not made from soy milk powder that is made for the sake of cheapness and convenience. The breakfast is buffet style, very clean, hot and warm. The corn is sticky and fragrant, very healthy and delicious. It was also the first time I had shredded squid for breakfast. It was sweet and refreshing. I read the guide on a certain website, and it specifically mentioned that the must-try food on Meizhou Island is Chunweifang’s special fried buns. We went to buy some that afternoon but were scared away by the long line and didn’t get to try them. To our surprise, we saw them on the breakfast table at the B&B the next day, and they were really delicious! It seems that the proprietress really put a lot of effort into preparing these breakfasts to present the special snacks of Meizhou Island, focusing on health and wellness. Especially since the prices on Meizhou Island are so expensive, the family can save a lot of money by having a full breakfast! !

It's really suitable for family outings. The room is big enough and clean! Even the children said they liked this hotel very much, and the breakfast was delicious. Although the restaurant was a bit small, there were many choices and the taste was very good! There is no delicious breakfast around, it is recommended to have breakfast in the hotel! Except for the breakfast which can't be compared with that of a five-star hotel, everything else is amazing! The price/performance ratio is very high!

GGuest UserThis Weizhou Island is a great experience. The accommodation is only across the road from the Goosetail Seaside. When there are few people, it is a private beach. You can stay at the beach in a daze. The sea breeze is very comfortable at night. The children are very happy! The boss and the couple are very enthusiastic about picking up and patiently introducing the local culture. The boss's mother's craftsmanship is also very good, and you can bring seafood to processing. The room is large and the facilities are new and great.

MM449781****The second time I came to Weizhou Island to play, I specially chose this [Shangyu Homestay] with a courtyard. I had a barbecue with friends until late at night. The experience was great!
🔥 The courtyard barbecue is too fun: the homestay provides barbecue grills and charcoal fire (you can also bring your own ingredients), roasting and chatting in the yard at night, blowing the sea breeze is super pleasant! The boss also helped prepare local specialty seafood, fresh and affordable~
🏡 The pastoral wind courtyard is super healing: Although it is not a sea view room, the courtyard is very warmly furnished, surrounded by green plants, sunbathing tea during the day, watching the stars at night, don't have a flavor!
👨🍳 The boss is super enthusiastic: pick us up from the pier to the store, and help contact the rental of electric cars, recommend the fishing village niche gameplay, as intimate as old friends~
🛏️ The room is simple and comfortable: the bedding is clean and soft, the bathroom has a lot of water, and it is super relieved to take a shower after a day of playing!
Compared with standardized hotels, I prefer this kind of humane homestay. I have already made an appointment to bring my parents to live next time! 🌟

LLu tuThe service and environment are really good! The only thing I didn't know about the construction behind the hotel as an out-of-towner was that I really didn't sleep well! It was really noisy. Although I didn't stay on the first floor, I stayed on the eighth floor. The noise stopped for a few hours at night and started construction at more than three in the morning... Maybe if the locals knew about this problem, they would choose to stay on the other side of the building and there might not be this problem! But out-of-town tourists who choose to stay in this Hanting Hotel should pay attention⚠️
It may be under construction for more than half a year. If you are afraid of noise and have trouble sleeping, don't buy it. Please choose another hotel! It's a real experience for everyone to share!

Cleanliness - must request to clean up & no issues.
Safety - unfortunately our unit on the 10th floor was clutter with thrown away old furniture at the lobby, there was even used paint & thinner (flammable) in the corridor as well as piles of rubbish at both side of our entrance making it a potential fire hazard. The Escape route ‘Exit’ staircase were blocked by these clutters. Look at photos taken. Hopefully MCST would look into this.
