"Location was good as not far from the main train and bus station. Good communication beforehand from the manager asking me when I would be arriving and then providing details of the apartment and that it would be open with the key inside, so all worked well there. For a self catering style apartment no cooking facilities not a problem just thought there might be some, fridge, crockery and kettle in the room which were all good. Plenty of towels and bedding left for my stay. One thing was there was no communication about how to check out."

No. 1 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Split"The location is right on the beach which is nice if you want that, but otherwise a bit far from the downtown, and taxis are very expensive here, so it would cost at least 25€ to get from hotel to town. The room and view were lovely, but when I moved a rug there were bugs crawling under it. The pool and spa looked amazing but we didn't have time to go so I can't say much more than that. The breakfast was top notch, amazing, lots of delicious options for every person -- spoilt for choice. Loved the amphora displays in the lobby."

"It was a horrible night. I couldn't sleep. The motor or mechanism of the ceiling air conditioner was making an infernal noise. Yet, all the control knobs on the wall unit were in the off position!!!!
I therefore request a refund for my night's sleep and the tourist tax.

"It was cute, lady who owns it was really sweet and friendly. Provided us with extra towels and coffee.
TV had Netflix, Disney+, YouTube etc and Google (however when we opened it, there was explicit adult content left on there from previous guest... which was not nice!)
Very clean and tidy premises.
Only other downside for me is that you can't actually see out of the windows, they're covered by external barriers making it quite dark, and also a lot of loud noises early in the morning, very loud banging (like a hammer) and power tools.
Otherwise, good location, not too far from tourist areas and very nice staff."

No. 2 of Scenic Hotels in Split"Lovely modern hotel just outside Split. It is 20 mins walk from the centre. In the high season, it is extremely hot so we left before 8am most days.
It is maybe 5 euros by taxi and there are good bus links. I did not try the food but it has a lovely indoor pool with a view of the mountains."
