The next morning, when I went to get the shirt, they washed the shirt, but the obvious print was still on it, the counter told me that it was 15 euros to wash one, not my money. We spent two nights in this hotel in a junior suite with a sea view. Our room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the Promenade des Anglais that was just big enough for a bistro table and two chairs. The hotel had an old world charm about it that was particularly enjoyable but the rooms, the amenities, etc. were all modern and comfortable. Everyone we met was helpful and friendly. The breakfasts we had were very good as was the dinner in Le Duc Restaurant that we had on our first evening. We were a bit jet lagged and hungry and ordered their three course meal. The caesar salads we had for the first course were huge (a meal in themselves!) and had nicely done chicken on top. But the desserts we had were totally fantastic: a strawberry charlotte and an amazing fresh pineapple and lemon sorbet. Each evening before dinner we enjoyed a cocktail and an appetizer in The W Bar's glassed in area outside. The Westminster's location is excellent -- just across the street from the Promenade des Anglais and a short walk to the old town and to Castle Hill. There's no question that if in Nice again we would very happily stay here.

Loved the view from the room and rooftop! Me and my bf stayed for 3 nights last week. Was amazing! All the staff were very kind and helpful. The most enjoyable part was the view while we were having breakfast at the top floor. Breakfast buffet was ok and they serving dinner in the same room as well.

Reception was shocking, everytime we needed assistance the wait was long and customer service not good, no one could be bothered. Small bar not a problem but no stock not even ice. The indoor pool was a good size but guest were allowed to walk in and out through the dining area wet with no shoes on straight into the lift. There seemed to be a lot of young people and familes being housed there, again not a problem but there was no hotel experience or service for the paying guest. The rooms were really nice and clean lots of space but the night we arrived one guest had been beaten up and had to be attended to by paramedics and police. Not sure how they got in as needed key card to enter lift. The saving grace for me was the roof terrace and pool, good space, lovely pool and the fact that were english and the weather was hot for us we had the whole area to ourselves as it was to cold for everyone else. The train runs almost directly behind the hotel which is cheap and a good way to travel in and out of the center. I would not stay here again.

A hotel I am quite satisfied with during my trip to France. After all, most of the French people's services are still quite poor. This newly opened hotel is quite good. Although many places in the garden are under renovation, it is generally good and the environment is quiet in a busy place. However, the wardrobe in the room smells musty, the facilities are not advanced enough, and the hair dryer is difficult to use.

The hotel is very compact, the corridor is relatively narrow, but the room size is ok, I booked a twin room, and took the initiative to help me put the two beds together when checking-in, and also added a small free for my child bed. Couple with sofa and desk, not particularly cramped. The bathroom is large and clean. Just the towel drying rack is broken. The room was fairly clean, but there was no free bottled water, and the charged mini-bar had snacks and wine. Did not see the electric kettle. Breakfast is relatively simple, there is no extra charge for children, bread, sausage, bacon, yogurt, tea and coffee, fruits, that's about it. Overall, the price / performance ratio is not bad, but I still feel that there is a gap with the standard of four stars.

Very good hotel located in the center of Nice. Everything is within walking distance. Only a few steps to the Promenade des Anglais. Very comfortable beds, well organized room. Breakfast in a restaurant on the 8th floor with a view of the roof of Nice. A very rich breakfast buffet with hot dishes (scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon) and cold meats, delicious cheeses, vegetables, fruits and excellent sweet pastries and jams. The only minus is the poor quality coffee. Comfortable lobby with plenty of places to sit. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the pool and spa. The overall very good impression of the hotel was spoiled by the unsympathetic and unhelpful reception staff. Check-in took a very long time and was the worst experience of staying at this hotel. The breakfast service was very good, helpful and nice.

Far from the beaches and the city center, you have to take tram line 2 to get there (nearest beach Carras 10 minutes by tram, less busy than those in the center); city ​​center 25 - 30 min by tram.
