GGuest UserMy stay at the Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel, nestled in Nice’s Carré d’Or, was pure bliss. Just steps from the Promenade des Anglais, the location is unbeatable. My Deluxe room was incredibly spacious, big, and super comfy, with a plush bed and sleek marble bathroom. The staff, were warm and attentive, making every moment seamless. Pet-friendly perks and a fair-trade espresso machine added a special touch. This elegant, modern haven is a Riviera gem—I’m already dreaming of my next visit! 🤩

SSurajnThe location is near the Nice airport, which is very convenient. The tram and bus stops are right outside the hotel, so you have easy access to the airport, and to the city centers of Nice, Cannes and other locations. The hotel, overall, was clear. They did a good job with the rooms, which were fairly spacious, only there was a bit of confusion about which glass bottles were clean or dirty outside, near the water machine, which is the only way you can get drinking water for the room. The clean bottles were supposed to be on top of the machine outside, near the elevator, but I was unsure if those bottles were actually clean. The service was very good, the team at the front desk was very helpful. There was a small scare when we first arrived, as the hotel said that they did not have our booking in their system (which I had fully paid for in advice, on Trip.com). They made a few phone calls, and we managed to get the 2 rooms that we booked for the five of us (2 adults, 3 children). I should point out that they said I was lucky that they had their last 2 rooms available, which they keep for such emergencies. I did not pay for breakfast, but we did eat the breakfast there twice, and if one adult buys the breakfast (19 euros), then the children are free. That worked well for us, and the children enjoyed the breakfast, as did the adults. There is a swimming pool, which is a small to medium size, and although we didn't use it, saw that many others were enjoying the pool. The gym was a decent size, but there were no free weights, which I like to use, so I did not use the gym. The restaurant connected to the hotel is only open Monday to Friday, and the menu is limited. There is not a great selection of restaurants nearby, but you can order in from others further away, though you will find that they make mistakes. Overall, a good choice for a reasonable hotel near the airport with good access to the cities around.

The location is super convenient, just a 7-minute walk from Nice train station, making it incredibly easy to get to Monaco. The beach is also only about a ten-minute walk away, which is fantastic. It's in the heart of Nice, surrounded by shops and restaurants, so eating and shopping are a breeze. Just one small thing though: I didn't realize it was a Marriott property before, so I didn't use my membership card and missed out on elite nights and breakfast.

AAnonymous UserI want to pat myself on the back for choosing this hotel; it was truly excellent. The location, service, cleanliness, and food were all impeccable. If you do choose this hotel, definitely include breakfast! You can see the ocean, and watching happy corgis stroll along the beach while you eat just makes you feel like a wonderful day is about to begin. The croissant was the best I had on the entire trip! The room had a bathtub, which was perfect for soaking away the fatigue after walking all over Nice. The bed was incredibly plush and guaranteed a good night's sleep, and if you're someone who hates being woken up by the morning sun, there are shutters on the window that you can close. The location is right in front of the sea; just cross the street and you're there. Place Masséna is about a 15-minute walk, and there's a laundromat about 5 minutes away. This is definitely a hotel I'd want to stay at again the next time I visit Nice!

I can do my offical work there. The canteen offers reasonable priced dinner. The shampoo, body wash and hand wash is good. GGuest UserFantastic hotel with great location. Rooms were lovely with a terrace. Lovely touch at night with a turndown service. Chocolate and gold eye masks. Spa and rooftop pool were great especially after a long day sightseeing. Rooms cleaned to perfection and all fresh towels and bedding. Staff were fantastic especially Samantha who checked us in. She was friendly and gave plenty of recommendations for eating and heading out on day trips. She also brought balloons and welcome champagne as it was a special trip with a lovely card from the hotel staff. She was amazing and is a credit to the hotel. Location 7mins to the beach and 7mins to the train station. Perfect for exploring the coast. Will be returning to the hotel in the near future. Thank you for a special stay.

Our room lacked basic maintenance, the bathroom extractors did not work, the overhead shower did not work and the heated towel rail was stuck on maximum making use of the toilet beneath uncomfortable. The breakfast was good value with plenty of choice. The staff were mostly great except the women at the pool bar in the evening who was very rude and condescending. I would stay here again purely based on location.

ZZhaoyikuThe location is about 1.5 kilometers from the beach. There is a road under construction in front of the door, which is a bit messy. There is a supermarket not far away. Parking is in a parking building across the road. You need to go to the front desk to get a barcode before driving over. You have to scan the barcode twice to enter and exit the parking building, which is a test of thinking and action ability. To put it bluntly, it is a bit confusing. The hotel facilities are not bad, but it is a bit old. I don’t know if it’s the water pipes or some equipment that occasionally starts at night, it’s a bit noisy. It’s just like that if you pass by and stay for one night.

GGuest UserI've never encountered such terrible service before. I can't believe a hotel that profits from Chinese tourists would treat them so poorly. 1. I booked a deluxe sea view room, but was given a ground floor room with no sea view at all. When I asked the front desk to change rooms, I was told there were no other sea view rooms available, but I could switch to a city view room on a higher floor. 2. Upon entering the new room, I immediately discovered an unidentifiable object in the bathroom. 3. The seal on the paid snacks was already broken. 4. It took 5 calls to the front desk before anyone answered. I asked for an extra duvet and was told the hotel didn't have any spare ones, and they would check and get back to me. As expected, I never received a call back. 5. All the staff treated Caucasians exceptionally well, while being very dismissive towards Asian guests.
