GGuest UserMy stay at the Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel, nestled in Nice’s Carré d’Or, was pure bliss. Just steps from the Promenade des Anglais, the location is unbeatable. My Deluxe room was incredibly spacious, big, and super comfy, with a plush bed and sleek marble bathroom. The staff, were warm and attentive, making every moment seamless. Pet-friendly perks and a fair-trade espresso machine added a special touch. This elegant, modern haven is a Riviera gem—I’m already dreaming of my next visit! 🤩

SSurajnThe location is near the Nice airport, which is very convenient. The tram and bus stops are right outside the hotel, so you have easy access to the airport, and to the city centers of Nice, Cannes and other locations. The hotel, overall, was clear. They did a good job with the rooms, which were fairly spacious, only there was a bit of confusion about which glass bottles were clean or dirty outside, near the water machine, which is the only way you can get drinking water for the room. The clean bottles were supposed to be on top of the machine outside, near the elevator, but I was unsure if those bottles were actually clean. The service was very good, the team at the front desk was very helpful. There was a small scare when we first arrived, as the hotel said that they did not have our booking in their system (which I had fully paid for in advice, on Trip.com). They made a few phone calls, and we managed to get the 2 rooms that we booked for the five of us (2 adults, 3 children). I should point out that they said I was lucky that they had their last 2 rooms available, which they keep for such emergencies. I did not pay for breakfast, but we did eat the breakfast there twice, and if one adult buys the breakfast (19 euros), then the children are free. That worked well for us, and the children enjoyed the breakfast, as did the adults. There is a swimming pool, which is a small to medium size, and although we didn't use it, saw that many others were enjoying the pool. The gym was a decent size, but there were no free weights, which I like to use, so I did not use the gym. The restaurant connected to the hotel is only open Monday to Friday, and the menu is limited. There is not a great selection of restaurants nearby, but you can order in from others further away, though you will find that they make mistakes. Overall, a good choice for a reasonable hotel near the airport with good access to the cities around.

GGuest UserThe hotel was in a good location and very clean. The staff were so helpful and could not do enough for you. Breakfast was excellent. Now the downside the rooms are really really small, I think there may be some that a larger ie junior suite but not what we were allocated. There is no facilities and no sitting space outside of the hotel. Would I stay again, yes if I managed to get a bigger room definitely not in the room we stayed in 118.

LLazarouxgetting there : you dont need the tram from Terminal 1 (its walking distance and its well sign posted)but you do for terminal 2. The main door was out of order so in the dark it’s hard to find the side one. Reception was easy but there can member of staff after 10/11pm which could delays things. Rooms are fine but I would not say to Sheraton standards and certainly nothing to brag about on the deluxe room option. All comfortable, practical , clean and what you need for an overnight stay. The pool was closed as Jan/feb there is no one to supervise and rather cold. This was not mentioned when booking was done which is a shame if you have kids! Room: is fine but there is a constant buzzing noise which either comes from the aircon or the electrical unit outside ( not sure). Bed is comfy and cosy and bathroom is all what you need. However there is a constant smell of sewage coming and going either in the hotel area or the bathroom. It’s intermittent and comes and goes, somewhat unpleasant at times but not overwhelming annoying. Breakfast was good and you can order an omelette (as per previous unsure reviews) on request though plenty of choice is presented for full international breakfast. It’s all spread out over the whole room so there is a lot of going and coming around :) Overall easy stay for a night , Summers or hot days must be fun with the top terrace/pool thought the view is mostly over the airport ( if you like that). I would say a tick expensive for what you get but they can charge a premium for airport surroundings! Recommend for short stay or late arrival.

GGuest UserThe hotel offers free snacks and drinks including various types of coffe and tea. The canteen is spacious, cozy and relaxing. It offers different zones which cater for my needs. I can do my offical work there. The canteen offers reasonable priced dinner. The shampoo, body wash and hand wash is good. AAnonymous UserIbis Nice-Center Notre-Dame really exceeded my expectations for an Ibis property. The daily breakfasts (while the items didn’t change much) had an adequate spread with very lovely cut fruit, pastries, excellent nuts and seeds selection with yogurt and an egg boiling station which you could make eggs as how you would like them. Their coffee and tea machines were excellent and they even had a cocktail hour with free pastries and bonbons in the late afternoon if you ever wanted a quick snack. The location was excellent. The hotel was on a perpendicular street to the Main Street with the tram line and shopping streets. Lots of eateries around and proximity to the train station meant we were able to go for day trips to Cannes and Monaco with very little hassle. The bathroom was very spacious and I loved that our room had 2 balconies - one in the main room and one opens in the bathroom which helped to keep it dry and not humid after a hot shower. View from our room looked into the next residential building but we didn’t mind that. I often sat on the balcony to enjoy my hot coffee in the cool mornings. We really enjoyed our stay at this property and look forward to retuning in the years to come.

CClare74A comfortable and enjoyable 1 nights stay. Close to supermarket and all attractions. An amazing breakfast with a good variation. The room was very big and clean, comfortable Queen bed. The service was great, a welcome chocolates and hot chocolate on arrival and at anytime. The staff also arranged a morning taxi to the airport. Would highly recommend and stay again!

AAadwtMy father had booked this hotel for my best friend and I for an early birthday celebration. All staff were super nice and friendly, extremely welcoming and polite. On another note, we’re thankful to have had a private room with our own bathroom but our bathroom was slightly questionable. There was this odour coming from somewhere in the bathroom, it smelled of a public bathroom aka if smells of piss all over as if the pipes had leaked or someone had peed all over the bathroom (not saying that it happened). Along with it, our shower had some suspicious black stains, the shower curtain seemed to have had some mold on it but we are uncertain about it. With it, my friend’s bed somehow had a bunch of water drops on it we couldn’t tell if it was from the smoke detector or the AC unit being turned on? Lastly, my bed had this slat that was not put in properly and was being held by a piece of cardboard (I was kneeling on the bed and my knee went through the bed, I nearly ate the wall. But the slat was sideways and not put properly due to the fact that it was far too long for the bed’s width). On a good note, we were grateful for the AC unit especially since Nice was super humid and we were sightseeing a lot, plus the courtyard is super cute! Absolutely loved sitting outside and enjoying. The hotel is situated near from the train station (if you arrive at terminal two you can take the tram until Grand Arénas and take the train to Nice Ville)! Restaurants, shops, mall, bars etc all around!
