"Traveling to Chongqing with my daughter, after comparing several options, I chose this hotel. I didn't have particularly high expectations, but we were very satisfied after checking in. The hotel room was very clean and stylish, and the loft room was spacious. The front desk staff was very welcoming during check-in, helping us with our luggage and providing information about the surrounding area. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chongqing, and I've already recommended it to all my friends."

SSisier-We took our little one to Chongqing next door for the weekend. Before going, I looked at many types of hotels, but this hundred-year-old villa, nestled in the bustling city center, immediately caught my eye. It's really close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, making it super convenient for getting around. This old Republic of China-era villa, built into the hillside, boasts blue tiles, wooden windows, and courtyards filled with light and shadow – every step feels like a scene from a movie. They offer 24-hour butler service, afternoon tea, and a bedtime soup, covering all the bases. Each room is unique, with garden rooms, tree-view rooms, river-view rooms, and even loft-style rooms… absolutely beautiful! We stayed in a loft, which was spacious and quiet. Our child had their own little space, giving us parents some much-needed free time. The best part is stepping out right into the authentic local life of old Chongqing. The main scenic spots are within walking distance, which is incredibly convenient when traveling with kids. Breakfast the next day included staple noodles and dumplings, along with a rich and nutritious 'nine-grid' platter that our baby absolutely loved! No need to rush the itinerary when traveling with kids. Slow down in this century-old building, watch the mountains, the river, and time flow by. History comes alive, and family time feels truly special. The little one had a blast, and I got some great photos. This trip was absolutely worth it! This is truly the right way to experience Chongqing.

TTaiyangwenquandanThe room was fantastic, with a strong Chinese aesthetic. Most of the furniture and facilities were made of wood, which was very comfortable. There was even a mahjong table, though we couldn't gather enough people to play, haha! The bed was very comfortable. Upon check-in, we also received a complimentary enhanced hot spring experience. We chose lavender, and to our surprise, it was freshly brewed, which was a lovely surprise. After checking out, I left my power bank in the room, and it wasn't convenient to arrange a courier. Our butler, Xiaoya, brought it to us the next morning, for which I'm extremely grateful. Both the check-in and check-out services were excellent. When we left, we didn't even need to go to the front desk to check out, but the butler still chased us out from the front desk to say goodbye, ask about our stay, and see us off. Although breakfast for two was included when we booked the room, we didn't wake up in time. I'll definitely try it next time I visit!

PpogbackMy stay in an executive room during this Chongqing trip was absolutely flawless from start to finish. It offered an unparalleled experience, making it an excellent choice for a holiday or extended stay in Chongqing. Everything far exceeded my expectations, providing comfort and a sense of calm throughout. What truly impressed and won me over was the Regent Hotel's meticulous and thoughtful service, easily making it the benchmark for high-end hotel service in Chongqing. From the moment I arrived for check-in, the staff were professional, gentle, and impeccably polite. The doorman warmly greeted me, assisted with parking and luggage, and handled everything with gracious humility. The front desk check-in process was efficient and quick, with staff patiently explaining hotel facilities, guest benefits, and local sightseeing tips. The communication felt natural and comfortable. Throughout my stay, the entire team maintained a high standard of service, responding promptly and thoroughly. Room cleaning was meticulous and attentive, with amenities, mini-bar drinks, and local snacks replenished daily. The room was spotless, tidy, and pleasantly fragrant. All requests were handled quickly and appropriately, with attentive service that wasn't intrusive, perfectly embodying the quality of a top-tier luxury hotel. I felt completely at ease and comfortable the entire time. My executive room had an exceptional overall feel, with an open and airy layout and a spacious ambiance. The decor blended elegant Chinese aesthetics with modern minimalist luxury design, creating a sophisticated yet warm atmosphere. The layout was well-designed, and the soft furnishings were exquisite. The warm lighting created a soothing ambiance. The room's soundproofing was excellent, ensuring quiet and privacy, leading to superb rest. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered unrivaled views of the confluence of the two rivers and the Yuzhong Peninsula cityscape. Whether relaxing or soaking in the tub, I could enjoy the riverside view, immersing myself in the mountainous city's scenery. The bedding was soft, skin-friendly, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom featured a dry/wet separation, and premium toiletries were well-stocked. The executive room's exclusive mini-bar was refreshed daily with complimentary drinks and snacks. Various thoughtful daily essentials were perfectly provided, with attention to every detail, making for a luxurious and pleasant living experience. The dining experience was equally outstanding, with dishes that excelled in color, aroma, and taste, balancing both quality and flavor. The hotel offered a rich selection of meals, catering to both local Chongqing flavors and exquisite Western cuisine. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of fresh ingredients, including regular Western pastries, hot dishes, congee, and fresh fruit drinks, as well as authentic Chongqing noodles and pea and meat sauce noodles, full of local character. Executive room guests also enjoyed exclusive executive lounge benefits, including breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour. The food was exquisitely prepared and diverse, in a quiet, less crowded setting, offering greater privacy and a full sense of exclusive treatment. Additionally, the hotel's main dining options, specialty hotpot, and the Two Rivers Bar on the 7th floor are all worth experiencing. The ingredients are premium, and the cooking is done with care. The Two Rivers Bar boasts a prime view of the river at night, offering a double delight for both sight and taste with the evening breeze and delicious food. The hotel's public facilities were comprehensive and well-maintained. The high-altitude heated swimming pool was quiet and uncrowded, allowing me to swim while enjoying river views. The gym had professional and well-equipped machinery to meet daily workout needs. The spa and relaxation areas were well-appointed, perfect for unwinding after a tiring journey. The public areas exuded elegant style, with a sophisticated fragrance, creating a tranquil and refined environment where every snapshot looked like a professional photograph. Overall, my impression of the stay was that Regent Chongqing enjoys a prime location with unparalleled views of the two rivers, complemented by impeccable, thoughtful service, excellent dining, a high-quality executive room environment, and comprehensive facilities. Everything was executed to perfection. With the added executive privileges, the overall value for money and comfort were significantly enhanced, creating a tranquil and luxurious sanctuary in the bustling mountain city. Next time I visit Chongqing, Regent Chongqing will still be my top choice, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to friends traveling or vacationing in Chongqing. It's truly worth revisiting.

GGuest UserThe hygiene, environment, and facilities are all great, and it's not far from Happy Valley. The room design and color scheme are also decent. The only regrettable thing is that the swimming pool was closed during the Chinese New Year. My kids were really looking forward to swimming, so they were quite disappointed.

IIvyandhorseThe Niccolo Chongqing truly exceeded my expectations! Its location is superb, occupying a prime spot high above the city with stunning panoramic views of the Yangtze River at night – every photo you take looks like a masterpiece. The rooms are incredibly luxurious and the details are exquisite; even the toiletries are high-end and smell fantastic. Jinx provided attentive and professional service, and the breakfast selection was refined. The high-altitude pool offered a fantastic ambiance. With its central location, convenient transportation, and a luxurious, comfortable stay, this will definitely be my top choice next time I visit Chongqing!

GGuest UserThe Banyan Tree Chongqing Beibei is located right within the Old North Hot Spring Park, a place famous for its 'Ba Mountains Night Rain' and as the 'Homeland of Hot Springs.' It's a must-visit, especially for the ancient North Hot Springs, which is surrounded by lush greenery and a thousand-year-old hot spring temple. It offers a very serene and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and clearing your mind. The private hot spring on the room's balcony is incredibly comfortable and great for alleviating fatigue. Owen provided exceptional service. The hotel's design is very distinctive, with every room offering views of the Jialing River.

GGuest UserEvery time I visit Chongqing, I choose to stay at the Westin Chongqing Liberation Square, and each stay is incredibly comfortable and truly excellent value for money. The hotel's location is outstanding, right in the heart of the Jiefangbei central business district. Step downstairs and you'll find all sorts of delicious local eateries. Popular attractions like Hongyadong and Raffles City are within easy walking distance, and subway access is very convenient, making it perfect for both sightseeing and daily commutes. The lobby is on a high floor, offering expansive views and a great ambiance. The front desk staff are gentle and patient, handling check-ins quickly and with a kind, courteous attitude. They even thoughtfully shared local travel tips, which was a really nice touch. The room views are spectacular, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly overlooking the Yangtze River and the city's night skyline. During the day, the sky is clear and bright, and at night, the lights twinkle beautifully – you can enjoy Chongqing's stunning river views right from your bed. The room is spacious and tidy, with meticulous cleaning; there's no clutter, dust, or unpleasant odors. The dry-wet separation bathroom is clean and refreshing, and the Westin's signature Heavenly Bed is soft and comfortable. After a long day of exploring Chongqing on foot, you can lie down and rest peacefully. My stay was flawless, a perfect experience, and I will definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Chongqing.

AAnonymous UserI stayed at the hotel for two nights, and it was quite an experience. I used to think Kempinski hotels were synonymous with high-end luxury, and while the five-star foundation is there, I noticed a lot of missing details or a certain rigidity. First, the shower was broken and only cold water came out. So, my first 'bath' in Chongqing was a refreshingly cold one, which led to a room change. Second, the service attitude was impeccable; the front desk staff, housekeeping, and even the restaurant ladies were all incredibly enthusiastic. However, despite booking a room that included a free beer, they flat-out refused to deliver it to my room, which I found utterly baffling. Finally, I left my belt behind, and they didn't proactively contact me. I only realized it was missing after I got home and called housekeeping to inquire. I ended up paying 20 RMB myself to have it shipped back via SF Express. These might seem like minor issues, but they reflect a rigid and inflexible hotel system. Perhaps the room rate, which is 500 this year, will drop to 400 or even 300 next year. Compared to some domestic Atour hotels or even budget hotels, the difference isn't just a little bit. These five stars are a tribute to the warm dedication of all the service staff; seeing how hard they work, it's truly not easy for them. If I had to rate the hotel, I'd give it 0 out of 0 points – it's simply terrible.

HHuxley13Good value stay. Room is super comfortable and quiet. Executive lounge is relatively small but has a good variety of food and drinks. Breakfast is huge but area can get packed on holidays so you don’t want to seat too near the food. Location is not exactly center of the city, but close enough on a quieter, niecer neighborhood. Would stay again.

ZZhangxiaotingThe river view rooms offer great scenery, and I personally think it surpasses the Bund's 'three iconic buildings'. However, besides the uninterrupted river view from the window, the overall stay experience at this hotel was very, very mediocre. My whole family landed in Chongqing, and we took a taxi to the hotel, arriving for check-in at 3 PM. The concierge desk on the first floor was practically useless. We walked past, loaded with luggage, and they simply blurted out, ”Take the elevator upstairs for check-in,” without even asking if we needed help with our bags. Well, maybe this hotel caters more to business events, and casual guests like us are dispensable. Upon reaching the front desk, they searched around and said they couldn't find my reservation. The front desk staff member was very impatient, asking where I booked the room. I showed him my mobile booking confirmation, and he snatched my phone, swiping through it quickly before searching on his computer. Only then did he find it. He then informed me that the room wasn't ready yet… It was almost 4 PM by this point. In all my years, it's rare to encounter a situation where a room isn't ready so late in the afternoon. My elderly parents and I sat in the lobby for an hour. Finally, we checked in. I won't even mention the outdated room facilities. I honestly suggest that any ladies who need to do their makeup when traveling should absolutely not consider this hotel. The bathroom is dimly lit, there's no vanity counter to place cosmetics or skincare products, and the magnifying mirror is broken… Not to mention the mini-bar was completely empty, and they only provided two small bottles of mineral water for one room! 😤 We went for a swim in the evening, and there was only one measly towel in the locker. If you don't specifically ask, the hotel won't proactively provide children's amenities. The lifeguard left their post for half an hour. I can't imagine if any accident were to happen at that moment, whether the hotel would be able to bear the responsibility. The 50th-floor observation deck was just an empty rooftop platform. The 'Cloud Bar' advertised on the elevator navigation had cluttered items piled up, clearly indicating it hadn't been in operation for a long time. Chongqing is known for its nightlife, but the hotel lobby bar closed at 9 PM. A normal lobby bar should at least be open until 10 PM or even 11 PM, right? We didn't book a platinum room or a separate executive lounge, so even if we wanted a drink, there was nowhere to get one. Going back to the location, it's close to Haitangxi Metro Station, two stops from Shangxin Street, making it convenient for taking the cable car across the river or visiting Xiahao Li. You can walk to the riverside and dine or relax at the river view restaurants in Dongyuan 1891.
