Bambuda Santa Catalina ★★★★
"The hotel is a spectacular location where you can relax and enjoy different activities. Personnel is service and very friendly"
SurfAsana Lodge
"I spent a week at Surfasana Lodge in Santa Catalina. It is a unique property situated on a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It was very peaceful there surrounded by nature. Mauricio was an excellent host. He can answer all your questions about the area or surfing. The room was exceptionally clean and well-appointed. If you come to Santa Catalina for surfing or diving, I highly recommend Surfasana Lodge for your accommodations."
Villa Coco ★★
"Wonderful accommodation in a quiet location with an excellent restaurant and very friendly and helpful staff. Loved the outdoor shower! They can arrange snorkeling trips to Coiba National Park which is really the only reason to go to Santa Catalina unless you are a surfer."
Hotel Santa Catalina Panamá ★★★
"We visited this lovely hotel 2 weeks ago with a group of 10. We were welcomed from the moment we stepped on to the property. The staff is wonderful here including the restaurant. So friendly and accommodating. The rooms are immaculate and we had a well equipped small kitchen that was perfect for breakfast. They will arrange all of your activities and there are many including going to beautiful Coiba. I highly recommend this gem of a hotel and I can’t wait to return!"
Hotel Las Hamacas ★★★
"My room was $80 per night and for that price I would certainly hope for better accommodations. The room was extremely small, as well as the bathroom (you can sit in the toilet and brush your teeth at the same time since the sink is in oración your face). To add to the bathroom woes, every morning the shower wouldn’t drain. The kitchenette had no soap, only one fork and no spoon, although the room was for two people. There was never anyone in the office to ask for help. The mattress was horrible and worn out with permanent indentions (body slots). The lighting ****** everywhere. Overall the room reminded me of a jail cell. It certainly wasn’t worth $8o a night and probably no even half that amount. The only positive was the location which is right near “downtown “. But in that same location, there are far better places in town to stay. I’d pass on this one."
Catalina's Hideaway ★★★★
"We originally booked three nights, but the moment we arrived, we regretted not staying longer. Catalina’s Hideaway is, without question, one of the most tasteful, welcoming and unforgettable places we’ve ever experienced. Every detail has been considered. The staff make you feel genuinely at home, the facilities are outstanding, and the design strikes the perfect balance between luxury, comfort and character. The owners have created something truly unique. It doesn’t feel like just another beautiful hotel. It has a soul. You can feel the passion, care and vision behind every corner of this place. Above all, the entire place radiates the laid-back, relaxed atmosphere you’re hoping to find on vacation. If you’re considering staying here, do yourself a favour: book more nights than you think you’ll need. We certainly wish we had."
