The boardwalk near the Sofitel Pool leading to Tanjong Beach will be closed for renovation from October 15 to November 17, 2025, and is scheduled to reopen on November 18, 2025. In the meantime, to access the beach needs to use a) the free Sentosa shuttle bus at the opposite Sentosa Gold Club or b) hotel shuttle to Raffles Spa next door and walk to the beach

I booked this hotel for my ROM solemnisation, but unfortunately, the service was quite disappointing. I had emailed the hotel in advance to request an early check-in between 1:30pm to 2:00pm as I needed time to set up the decor. However, when I arrived at 2:00pm, the front desk staff (a Malay gentleman) told us that check-in would only be at 3pm as there were no rooms available.
I explained that I had already emailed the hotel and informed them of my early check-in time, but he simply replied that it was subject to availability even though the email confirmation I received never mentioned that. Throughout the check-in process, he was not friendly and did not provide much explanation.
Then, rather abruptly, he handed us the key card without any proper update or acknowledgment, which I found quite unprofessional for a hotel that positions itself as a 5 star resort. When I later requested a late check out, I was told the latest possible time was only 12:30pm. Overall, the service standard fell short of expectations, especially for such an important occasion.

Overall good experience staying here. Food is nice, morning breakfast with so many choices. Was surprise that this is pet friendly hotel, not for me. Dogs running around, and I saw a dog poo poo morning in walkway. Those dog owner should really be more responsible.
Love the cozy environment, love the beauty birds and also peacocks.

Overall the staycation was good, location is very good, set in a tranquil, peaceful and majestic plac nearby many amenities and attractions that Sofitel Sentosa offers.
Food was very tasty and great staff supporting the dining areas, especially staff at breakfast (Mr. Peter), who even remembered our names from a previous stay.
Room was spacious with all that you require for a stay at a luxury hotel, of which is also a pet friendly hotel.
I shall definitely return for future staycations, along with our

Lovely 5 star resort with friendly staff! A little inconvenient in getting to and back from the beach as the side gate is closed. Other than that it’s been a wonderful stay!
