"The hotel is at the Sibu town centre thus very convenient to hunt for food and some shopping nearby. The night market is less than 10 mins walk away. Basement car park is available. It is considered second best Hotel in town though the design is outdated. Rooms are nice and cosy and clean. Staff are friendly and polite. Breakfast is acceptable and the environment is good. The only downside of this Hotel is the security where there is no access control in the lift (key card access to individual floor) and also no security guard at the overhead walkway linking the Hotel to the Shopping complex."

Overall, the experience was below expectations due to the lack of upkeep. On the positive side, the location is decent and allows for relatively easy access to nearby areas. The location is convenient, with F&B outlets nearby, and the building itself is relatively new. There were some minor hiccups during check-in, probably because multiple rooms were booked under the same booking number, which may have caused some confusion at the reception. Thankfully, my colleagues were great problem solvers, so the issue was quickly resolved and I had nothing to worry about. Overall, everything was good. The room was basic but had complete amenities, and most importantly, it was clean."

"For what we needed, it was excellent. When you are travelling with athletes, the priority is simple. You need a place that is clean, practical, comfortable, easy to manage, and suitable for proper rest before and after competition. Qu Lin Resident did that job very well. The place is highly suitable for sports teams. We had boxers staying there, and it worked well for team logistics. Rooms were comfortable enough, the place was practical, and the overall setup made sense for a group trip. The extra facilities are a big plus. Having a gym and sauna available is very useful for athletes. Not every hotel at this level gives you that, so that stood out. For a boxing team, this was not just “a place to sleep”. It was a proper base for the event. Clean, practical, good value, and very suitable for teams travelling to Sibu for sports events. Would book again for future boxing events in Sibu."
