"We were passing through Transylvania and decided to stop for a night. The center is quite close, excellent restaurants nearby. The rooms are spacious as is the bathroom, very clean and above all warm in the cold months, which is not a given here in Romania. Friendly staff. Interesting prices"

"May 17th John Powell called and confirmed a room for myself and he said he talked to the manager, booking for 5 days. He called again 10 minutes before I arrived to confirm and was told it was set. I was there for a funeral. When I got there, the lady at the desk was more than pleasant and actually should be the manager, told me she couldn't find me listed. I had John call to confirm we had the right place. I was standing right there. She called the manager and he said he would take care of it when he came in. He was not a nice person. John said he talked to the manager to book it. So it would have been him. He said he checked and there was no booking and the woman that answered the phone earlier was mistaken. I said ok, well we will wait til one was available then. He said NO, we are booked up. If he was a responsible manager he would have said let me find you another room in the area. But he just brushed me off. Rude I went to another hotel, hearing what Best Western did, gave me a room immediately and discounted."

"Very comfortable clean and quiet. Perfect location in old town. Car Park opposite. Really convenient location and huge room size. Coffee machine and tea and kettle and little hob. Lift to the floor or stairs close by. Could not fault. Owner sent code for doors. Felt secure and good air con. Large powerful shower, wet room."

"Good stay. Great value accommodation close to centre of Sibui. Spotlessly clean room with kitchenette and tea/coffee. Very attentive host. Only issue was noise from upstairs room. However we did raise this with host and was immediately dealt with."

The heating is strong enough that clothes dry overnight after washing. The TV has various sports channels, making watching games a great experience. Overall, it's excellent value for money."

Environment: Located in the city center, a ten-minute walk from the Old Town Square or the train station, very convenient. Service: Very friendly. Because I was going to Cluj the next day, and it was snowing that day, the front desk staff kindly helped me check bus schedules and book tickets for me."

Blumenhaus Sibiu

"Right next to the old town and the main square. Pretty good for location. Clean hotel as well. Parking on the street for 10 lei a day, you have to find a spot on your own though."
