"A smallish hotel within a few minutes walk of the historic centre. A variety of rooms. Ours had a small balcony. Small double bed, good en-suite shower, kettle. All clean and comfortable. Great choice at breakfast. But what really made it was the friendly, helpful staff. I’d come again."

"Good service. Quiet location. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The family suite only has a refrigerator, and to get to the bathroom you have to go through one of the two bedrooms. There's no elevator. The location is remote; transportation is required to get to the historic center. Breakfast was generally good."

Republique

"I stayed at Republique for 3 nights while visiting Sibiu and it was the perfect base. The hotel is on a quiet residential street, but you can walk to the old town in about 5 minutes. Best of both worlds. The room was spacious, very clean, with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. What really surprised me was the garden. I spent every morning having breakfast outside, surrounded by greenery, flowers, and complete silence. It doesn't feel like you're in the middle of a city at all. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh eggs prepared on the spot, good coffee, local products. On weekends they serve it until 11:00, which I appreciated after a late evening exploring the old town. Staff was genuinely friendly and helpful with recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Also worth mentioning: private parking on site (rare for hotels this central in Sibiu) and they also have an EV charging station which I didn't use, but good to know for a future visit. Would definitely come back!"

"The room we had was big and spacious, with lots of natural light but also good curtains, comfortable bed and clean modern bathroom. We liked the free parking and the location within walking distance to the old town. The restaurant downstairs is a must if you're staying here, great food and service. Breakfast was also good."

"Good stay. Great value accommodation close to centre of Sibui. Spotlessly clean room with kitchenette and tea/coffee. Very attentive host. Only issue was noise from upstairs room. However we did raise this with host and was immediately dealt with."

"Big room with seating area with sofa to watch TV. Big double bed with TV in the room. Bathroom with some toiletries. There's coffee machine which is good. Walk abt 5 minutes for convenience store and a lovely cafe about 5 min away."
