Shangri-La Shenzhen Hotel Reviews

The hygiene condition of the male changing room (5/F) is disappointing and unsatisfactory. The smell is unacceptable . The staff should have deep clean it daily. Plus, there is no bottle water in male changing room at all.

The hotel is a little aged. TV in the room is very small and the pillows are very flat. Really high time to do some internal furnishing.

Frequent traveller obsessed with the gym. 1. Hotel is fine, like aged wine, tastes good if you like it, average if you don’t appreciate it. 2. Staff are excellent, from floor staff, lifeguard to reception at the concierge.&&& this was the best thing about the hotel. The staff 3. As mentioned, aged wine. It is an old hotel, the carpet in the rooms are comparatively aged as well. Which is not our cup of tea. 4. Gym is fine, big, but machines are at least 10 years old. 5. Swimming pool was acceptable. Can’t complain too much. 6. Kids thought it was ok, but there are better choices. But close proximity to luohu control point, nothing beats that.

Had a quick stay over night in Shenzhen. Choose the ShangriLa in Lohu, simply because I just came from Shanghai and stayed in the ShangriLa JingAn hotel. The hotel is much older than Shanghai and more run down to be honest. But I knew I would have a good night sleep for just one night, I didn't care about the rest. As long I can rest well during my hectic business trip thru China. Anyhow, it didn't disappoint and because it was close to other venues it was quite a centralized location within Shenzhen. Next day I had to be off to Hong Kong border, so that is also a big plus for this ShangriLa location. Will come back again for a leisure stay.

It's really good location while me and my family going to Shenzhen travel from Australia. The service is good and room is clean.

It started off very well during check in and was upgraded because the front office staff gave us a free upgrade after seeing us travel as a big family. However, there was no anti slip mat and the shower head had deteriorated, cutting my wife’s hand. Nonetheless, the team did make it good immediately after we told the staff. Good service recovery but we expected that everything should be clean and proper even before asking.

Kiki was very friendly and attended to my requests promptly. I really appreciated her kind assistance!

We had an amazing time at this hotel. The swimming pool and gym kept my kids entertained. The location is amazing- it’s within walking distance of two metro stations, and even getting taxis was not an issue at all. I would recommend this hotel for families.

 Chinese restaurant food are nice there

front desk provided thw wrong room number and can't open the door. But overall is goos service free fruits after mistake made
