Location wise is ideal as it is within the old town. You can contact the boss via WeChat before arrival to help bring your luggage up from the North gate as there is some slope. We also booked our Tu Si Yan via them. Beautiful view at night but it was snowing when we went. Will definitely stay here again if I’m back.

The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the hot blankets and oxygen supply, which were essential due to Shangri-La’s high altitude. The homestay also had a modern design while being located in the heart of the ancient town, offering easy access to everything.
