Somerset Hotels in Shanghai

Overall enjoyed staying here, really love the smell in the lobby, after a long day out coming back to a good scented atmosphere is relaxing. Bed is good, very nice for hotel standard, queen size which is perfect for solo travelers, nice pillows (I got my own pillow cases with me in the photos). Great closet, room has washing/drying machine in the balcony and very cool clothes hanger rack where you can roll it down or roll back up to the ceiling. Staff is nice, can communicate English. 7-11 right next to hotel entrance, family mart just right across, many restaurants and a coffee shop on the streets across from the hotel. At night the red bridge’s lights go on and it’s really beautiful, when I went, the city lights go on at 18.00 and off at 22.00 Hot water is available for shower but after midnight usually only cold water available, so make sure to shower before midnight if you like warm water showers. Wifi possible to connect but wouldn’t work, especially staying at floor 35 it’s impossible, I was fine using roaming internet data I bought from my country on my phones though. Stayed 6 nights including breakfast but only had breakfast 1 time, it’s quite average, however many local style options. Booked room with VR, pretty cool experience, the VR could be cleaner but they provide eye mask and sanitation wipes for you to clean.

設施配置齊全，品牌選擇也不錯，廚房電器、洗衣機都是松下，灶具脱排地暖系統都是林芮，中央空調是東芝，地暖很舒服，林芮的電磁爐功率強大，松下洗碗機很好用，網速完全沒問題，房間陽光很好，窗外有庭院景觀，居住中遇到的問題，前台都能及時回覆，並聯系其他部門很快解決，房間格局，櫥櫃佈局都比較合理舒服，總體來説，住在這裡是一個很不錯的選擇，以後有需要還會選擇這裏
