I have stayed here three times now , I will be back in this place every time I visit shanghai

Private cabin is ok, clean with good aircondition. Good hot shower. Location can easily access to other area by bike :) Metro station is a bit far to me. I Improvement: - Toilet is smelly despite there is always a man clean it frequently to keep it clean. Suggest to install an exhaust fan & trashbin with cap - Noisy from common area: suggest to close the entrance door (between common area and sleeping cabin)

I absolutely love this place! I stayed here last year too! They have really improved with keeping up on the cleanliness of the bathroom which last year it was lacking a bit but I understand when you have many people sharing it like a locker room. Convenient location and close to a lot of fun things and with in walking distance of many things.

this hostel has a reallyyyy good location and staffs are so nice!!! it’s so comfortable but i think the bathroom smells bad sometimes

Very spacious apartment and nice staff. Room was not very clean, especially the floors and we found a nail in our shower. There is construction going on so loud noise in the morning

We reserved the one & only big luxury room downstairs, very generous space. But all old facilities and lots of green mould on the ceiling and very mouldy smell. Front desk explained damage from leaking. In the case the room should not be on the accommodation market for sell.

I had the small single room, which was very nice as a solo traveller - clean and simple. The bathroom's cleanliness was however quite questionable. The toilets were not cleaned regularly enough (overflowing trash cans and horrible odors at times), the sinks had not been thoroughly cleaned for a long time. Long-term residents leave their stuff everywhere and no one cleans up after them. Apart from that, the staff was always nice, there are shared areas for hanging out, washing machine, water dispenser, and the option to buy water/ soft drinks at the reception and a vending machine downstairs. Toothbrush, slippers and disposable towel were provided.

Everything was so good. The staff are very friendly. Recommend 10/10

This hostel has no rules, you can do whatever you want at any time of day and in any room: noise, constant farting, etc. The bestialities do not end there, I was really disgusted with the communal bathroom, which is used by all, men and women, not just that those toilets are all pooped up, and I even found poo on the floor of one, but also, hawking and spitting from the bottom of the lungs goes on there all the time by local men and women. As if the hostel is a Tuberculosis ward, and these are all young Chinese people, and they caugh, hawk and spit like the worset Tuberculosis dying patients and they spit into showers and sinks and everything splatters arround, all the putrid bacteria and god knows what, all over the sink. It is known since 19th century that spitting spreads deseases and it was banned in public in Europe 100 years ago, In many countries you pay huge fines if you spit in public, but here, in this putrid hostel, they allow people to do this uncivilized and contageous thing in the public bathroom that everyone uses. It is disgusting. I saw a young Chinese woman in the communal bathroom, as she was just passing by the bathroom sinks, she just turned, hawked and spat there like any local man, and all this in my presence. It was disgusting, you have to brush your teeth over that sink and wash your face and hands, where her spit splattering all over. Just, unbeliveable! I said it was disgusting, and she came to me close to my face and with that mouth that just spat said: "what is disgusting, what is disgusting?" I told her it was her spit and her hawking and spitting. And, she was looking so surprized, as if this was the most civilized thing to do. So, be prepared for these. I wore my mask and ear plugs all the time, my ears are hurting from plugging them for days. This is very unhygienical place, not a place with a hostel vibe, but a cheap place for locals to stay. Bring your alcohol wet wipes and desinfecting spray with you, if you still decide to stay at this hostel. And good luck.

Pretty decent but wish there were more hair dryers

Worth it for the price. You get a single room to yourself which was bigger than i thought it would be. Toilets are shared, note that they dont provide shower slippers. Overall a no frills hostel that is decently clean, slightly run down due to wear and tear but still a pleasant stay. Service wise the male receptionist was nice but the female receptionist had a bit of an attitude which i dont appreciate. They have dyson hairdryers though

Flexible check in and luggage storage, good enough for a couple of day’s stay.

Very nice and welcoming staff. They let me access to my room 2 hours earlier and checkout a bit later as well. Very convenient.
