I stayed here during May Day holiday, it’s the perfect location. Located on Fuxing Middle Road, which is in the heart of the French concession, it’s really convenient. I went to Shanghai to visit friends and this apartment was great for a five day trip! The host was lovely and added my WeChat, communication was seamless and she was so accommodating and sent me a lot of information and was easily contactable throughout the trip. I would definitely stay again

Very nice hotel owner, this place is about a 10-15 minute walking distance to the nearest train station. Though, you can clearly hear footsteps and sounds outside, the place is not as clean but it’s pretty comfortable.

This was a beautiful little home stay in the heart of Xuhui. I chose this for its proximity to my friend’s wedding venue which was only a 20 minute walk. It’s also near Fuxing Park where all of the nightclubs are stacked into a single large building. The only issues I had were with cleanliness and amenities, although they were minor. Cleanliness: the dishes were stacked together on the counter, but each dish still had a pool of water in them. I didn’t realize this until late into my first night. Also, the cleaner wore her outside shoes right into the unit after my checkout, meaning the floor was probably not sanitary during my check in. Amenities: No hand soap — only a container of hand sanitizer in the bathroom. I’m not a fan of hand sanitizer and would’ve preferred hand soap. Overall, it’s a great stay that I would certainly come back to. WARNING: This listing is weird because it’s a homestay/airbnb, and the host didn’t provide an address until I called and asked. She’s lucky I spoke Mandarin and had WeChat. Makes me wonder how she would provide these to a foreigner who can’t speak mandarin and doesn’t use wechat.

A fabulous place to stay and they can give fapiao which is so nice to be able to book a place that feels like a homestay and still get fapiao! :) A wonderful authentic Shanghai stay in a lane house but with modern features and a loft for cosy sleeping. Super responsive communication and all very easy and fun... Highly recommend for a couple or even just business travel...

The unit has everything you would need for short stay. Location is awesome with everything in walking distance. The functioning washing machine and heater in the room is a highlight. However, the cleanliness of the place is the worst I have ever stayed. Room has odor on arrival. Rubbish in the courtyard and a broken mirror. Except following their rules to use the toilet, the toilet became dysfunctioning during the stay. This made our stay very difficult near the end.

[Five-star recommendation! Beautiful Garden B&B on Fuxing Middle Road] This one-bedroom garden on Fuxing Middle Road is amazing! The location is excellent, a 5-minute walk to the subway, and the surrounding Wutong Street District is super charming. The small courtyard is quiet and private, surrounded by green plants, and it is especially romantic under the lights at night. The room is clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the bathroom is spotless, and the details are perfect! The landlord is very patient and considerate, and the stay experience is comparable to a five-star hotel. A very cost-effective B&B, I will definitely stay there next time I come to Shanghai!

We arrived in Shanghai at night. Transportation was very convenient. We took the subway from Pudong Airport and got off at Shaanxi South Road Station. It was about a 10-minute walk. In fact, we walked for 2 hours. There were so many places to eat and eat around. We ate and played along the way. Many shops were worth checking in. The room was also good, with a small yard. It would be better if we stayed in the summer.
