location is truly central and very convenient as it is near 2 metro stations. however, everything else makes me forget this as it was truly a bad experience. firstly, when i first reached the hotel, instead of just checking you in, the staff will hard sell you to “upgrade” your room if you are staying more than one night, but this “upgrade” is rly just a window view which is also 80% blocked by some structure…. and the bedroom is also weirdly positioned, with a wall(?) positioned right between your bed and the desk?? i was quite bothered by this position because it’s like obstructing alot of space in the already small room for no reason. at this point, i was still willing to forego these as the location was rly good, but the dealbreaker was that for this “upgrade”, their shower was not working with the water pipe bursting. i was so shocked and angry and went to call the receptionist to fix my toilet, and not only did they not come immediately, they told me to wait 30 mins and even after the 30 mins, they didn’t even come because someone was on “dinner break” lol. this is my first time experiencing such bad service and the hotel wasn’t even that cheap for $70+ a night for ONE pax. anyways i would highly NOT recommend as it’s personally the worst hotel i have stayed in. the red flag that i should have picked up on is that there were still available rooms on the day that you want to book lol. i didn’t even bother taking photos as everything just looks atrocious. also i requested to change my room since no one came to fix my shower and they gave me a windowless room, and i supposedly paid for an upgrade, so ya never again.

Great location, very close to the metro station, lots of restaurants, shops and exhibitions around.  Super friendly and helpful staff! I highly recommend this hotel if you want to explore the city.

It’s tough to find affordable accommodation in central Shanghai but this place served us well. Right in the middle of a main shopping street and located really close to line 1 of the metro. Made exploring the city a breeze

My 2nd stay in this hotel. Great location between 2 metro stations surrounded with many shops and some choices for eating. Their staff are friendly and helpful.

Overall ok. Room soso. Just 1 elevator = long wait times. No English speaking staff at reception, but they were really helpful, as was the cleaning staff. Totally alright for a weekend in the city

Average hotel. Room a bit small but good location. Moderate hotel at great location, no much facilities or services to review actually. More smile from receptionists could be better, not rude but just lack of smile to their guess.

Cockroach x3 in the room and toilet and 2/3 stayed in toilet for 2 nights until I asked cleaner to clean it. How come cleaner came in without seeing it? Air conditioner not cold at all for all 3 nights. 2 lights not functional. Quite disappointed.

Very clean room, amazing room and extremely helpful staff! I would book again in a heartbeat!

The air-con is so hot I couldn’t sleep well, I did ask for help but it didn’t work for me so I have to stick to sauna

Well located, comfortable and clean. No luxury but it gives what it promises.

Got in at 3am and the front desk was super nice and let me push check out to 2pm! Didn’t stay long but clean and quiet :)
