The service here was absolutely outstanding — everyone was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast noodles were especially delicious and made my mornings so enjoyable. On top of that, the view from my room was stunning and really added to the whole experience. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay in Foggy Valley! Big up for the service, the whole team was ultra dedicated and very helpfull to make our stay smooth and easier. Mr Hu was always in contact with us, together with the wechat group and rest of the reception team. To give us some advice, help with transport from hotel to main attractions. We really felt supported and good sense of hospitality. The hotel itself is really nice, design, architecture, decoration, view. We loved it and felt very good in the room. Quick one on the general maintenance of the hotel. Maybe to improve a bit, as the place looks stunning, but the overall cleanliness and maintenance/ conditions to be improved to ensure high sense of detail and good visual impact everywhere ( room, public area, restaurant). Thanks a lot for this stay

We had a wonderful stay and we loved everything about the place. Beautiful and original suite with plenty of room for our family of 4. The surroundings and views are amazing! Many lovely detaills, beautiful mood lights makes the footpaths and outdoor space seem like a fairytale. The staff assisted us with booking tickets and planning initiaries. They also arranged transport, dinner and luggage storage. The kids loved exploring the large garden and especially the cats and dogs. Mr. Hu speaks english well and gave us easy to follow guides on wechat. Very helpful! We warmly reccomend Foggy Valley. An unique jewel.

Had an awesome stay at Foggy Valley! Staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful especially Mr Hu who helps us out promptly whenever we needed help even if its in the middle of the night. Do not worry about booking Zhang Jia Jie National Park as the staff will assist to book for you when u check in and also let you know of the walking route. There are also complementary car ride to/from railway station and ZZJ National Park. Breakfast was hearty and room had a fantastic view. Wang Wang, the dog, will melt your heart!!

If you are looking for a mountain vibe, peaceful, away from city and homey experience, this is the hotel for you! The mountain view is unbeatable and it’s so majestic. We have nothing but compliments about our room which can even house 3pax, having a bathtub and sauna to sooth our muscle after a day out were refreshing for us. Another highlight is how delicious the restaurant food is and we couldn’t resist eating the same dish (香芋扣肉) for 3 meals in a row. I am so glad to have booked one more night with this homestay just so that we can chill around the hotel with a tea ceremony with 毛管家 before heading out for our train ride home. Don’t be deterred by its mountainous location, it is only 5min away from the ZJJ forest park attraction entrance and the whole experience be it hardware or software with the homestay are so worth it! Ended my ZJJ tour on such a high note! Me and my parents (both in 70s) love it so much!

Amazing place to stay! Staff is friendly and very helpfull. From pick up at the airport to arranging the tickets for the National park thanks to them visiting Zhangjiajie is carefree. The restaurant has excellent food. It can only be a little chaotic as the kitchen is under the restaurant and the way of communication is to yell up and down.

We really enjoyed our stay here, more of a personalised stay than large chain hotels, our hosts were awesome, friendly and provided good travel advice. They helped with our trip planning through the national park so we weren't touring at the busiest times and didn't have long lines for some of the attractions. Delicious meals at their restaurant, make sure you check the menu QR code in the room (more options) try the Ai Ye Baba - rice flour wormwood cake. Stunning views and a very comfortable room, lots of places to relax and enjoy the scenery around the property with convenient tea facilities at the different spots around the property. Will stay again for our next visit to Wulingyuan and Zhangjiajie.

The best hotel we stayed at on our trip. Extremely friendly staff! They helped us organized all our rides and even took us to the top of the hill that the hotel resides on. Very adorable dogs and cats. The room was beautiful, with a great view of the mountains. Very comfortable stay, truly serene. Will come back here next time we visit Zhangjiajie.

Pros: - close to Zhangjiajie National park with free shuttle - Clean with all ammenities and some high quality features - Breakfast is ok - Helpfull host, Mr. Zhu helped us to plan our visit in Zhangjiajie National Park Cons: - We expected more of a resort, but found this is a homestay with normal houses surrounding it, which were blocking the views and some parts are not maintained. (Insta vs. reality effect) - The Breakfast was ok, but few vegetarian options and little fruit - The hotel organized a pick-up, which was a no-show. Thankfully we were able to book a Didi on time and the hotel refunded the fee. I think it was an honest mistake, but it is was happened.

My family had a wonderful time at Foggy Valley. The hospitality was outstanding, and we’re so grateful to Hu and all the staff. The delicious breakfast gave us a great start to each day, and the team offered rides to us to scenic spots and make sure we had everything we needed. The tea tasting was great experience! I already miss Wang Wang and the other animals! We’d love to visit again someday.

Lovely stay and staff! We had a great stay with an amazing view of the mountains from our room. The staff were very helpful with picking us up from our previous hotel and booking our tickets to the zhangjiajie national park. Great dinner, breakfast and the tea session. Would definitely go back. Also love the dog wangwang welcoming us!

Amazing place to stay. Excellent hospitality and caring staffs.

This accommodation is situated 10mins drive away from the Zhangjiajie National Park East Entrance, away from the crowd. There are butlers serving all the guests, arranging for ticket buying at a cheaper rate, driving you to the national park, massage or restaurant. The restaurant in this accommodation serves really delicious food at a reasonable price. We get to enjoy tea and looking at the mountain while it was raining in the morning. A quaint experience that I definitely reccommend. Thank you to Mr Hu, Tingting, Ah Shen and everyone from the accommodation for making the stay so comfortable, and it is a nice place to rest your mind and body. The dogs and cats are very cute too!
