I spent the last two nights of my trip here in Shanghai. It is conveniently located for travel to the shopping district and some other food joints several streets away. The hotel is also easily identified when I exit the metro station to identify it. At the drop-off point, the bellhop (slightly chubby young man, nice chap) saw me and did not hesitate. He immediately came over to help me with my luggage (it was pretty full by then)! Very commendable. The concierge Heidi was very attentive to me during the check-in and made sure I got a good room with a proper view of the city as per my add-on request via Trip.com! I also get the vibe that she, along with her colleagues, are always doing their best for all travellers visiting their hotel for accomodation. That's a plus to me. The room is spacious and clean, with a great view of Shanghai city. The bathroom is also very clean with water heating and strength settings configurable by the traveller. Very comfy bedsheets, pillows, and blanket! Food provided during the hotel-intercontinental breakfast is also of great variety. In all my excitement to enjoy the room and the rest of my trip in Shanghai, I forgot to take proper pictures of both the room and the view and instead called my mum to tell her I would really really enjoy the last part of my stay in Shanghai. :D Hope the pictures uploaded do help interested travellers somehow. Again, special thanks to Heidi and her colleagues for doing their utmost best to ensure the travellers have a pleasant stay (I was unable to find both the bellhop and Heidi to personally thank).

We booked a deluxe room, but upon check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a suite. The hotel's location was very convenient, quite close to the exhibition center we were visiting. It was also easy to get a taxi, and the surrounding commercial area was lively with plenty of dining options.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The administrator Haidi Huang was very helpful, they gave us a room with wonderful views, there were delicious breakfasts, the room was clean and beautiful. Thank you very much for a wonderful holiday.

On my day off, looking for a place to unwind, I decided on this hotel. The first room I was assigned wasn't quite to my liking, so I approached the front desk to request a room with a better view. They immediately accommodated my request and moved me. The setting was truly beautiful, and the breakfast spread offered a great variety. All in all, it was a very satisfying experience.

The hotel was great, I even got na upgraded room. The staff was very helpful and friendly, breakfast was average, overall very happy with my stay.

I recently stayed at a fantastic hotel and had an amazing experience. The staff ( FD Heidi ) were inredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The swimming pool and sauna are absolutely fantastic. The hotel's breakfast in the morning is also abundant and nutritious. The hotel staff are very friendly and patiently helped with the luggage. Booked the room at a special rate, and it offered pretty good value for money! It was perfect for one adult traveling with two older kids. This kind of suite was ideal, with two bathrooms allowing everyone to use them simultaneously, and more than one sink. Plus, having two desks meant the kids had space to do their homework! We checked in close to 11 PM on the 31st. The front desk attendant, who might have been from Nantong, provided incredibly warm and attentive service. This really made up for the slightly dated room facilities.

I recently stayed at double tree hotel for a 3 night getaway, and overall, it was an excellent experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and attentive. The check-in process was quick, and I was offered a welcome cookies while waiting — a nice touch!

The front desk (Han) very helpful and kind, he has given us a free breakfast with no any doubts! We were very surprised for that! The views were excellent, swimming pool has 3 guards looking after (very secure and safe). Breakfast was excellent! Plenty of choices and taste very good! The most thing I love was the bed and thr pillows are very comfort and clean! We will definitely go back again!!!

We highly recommend this establishment for travelers and vacationers visiting Shanghai, as the overall service quality is commendable.

Clean and good services

The hotel room feels very outdated, almost like stepping back into the 90s. The bathroom we received was not the same as shown in the pictures, which was disappointing. At reception, the staff spoke very little English, at one point, a girl didn’t even understand the word “toilet,” which honestly felt like a joke.
