Absolutely fantastic, impeccable service, amazing staff. The room is exceptionally comfortable with a fantastic review of the Bund, especially at night. I cannot recommend the Shanghai EDITION highly enough. Should be your number 1 choice for a Shanghai stay.

Great location and service. They just need to update to USB-C charging outlets in the room. Also if you are working in the room during daytime suddenly lights will turn off and curtains close as the sensor will not see you when working at the desk. Stand up and things will go back to normal but a bit annoying.

A big thank you to Bonnie at the front desk for upgrading my room and patiently answering all my questions. All the other staff members were also very friendly, always greeting me whenever we met. I also really loved the hotel's Le Labo scent and ended up buying a few bottles to take home. I will definitely choose The EDITION again next time I'm in Shanghai!

I’ve been to many 5-star hotels but this has been among the best ones worldwide! Excellent & obliging service in all hotel facilities. Stylish, clean & big room with great views (even from the shower & bathtub) and luxury Le Labo products along with multiple welcome gifts made us feel like VIPs. :-) The breakfast is great, too. Big variety and mix of buffet & a la carte (intercontinental & Chinese). Very good location (5 min walk to subway) and in the middle of the famous shopping street, close to the bund. Don’t miss the rooftop bar!

Very nice stay with great view of the city and a bit of the bunds, great room decoration and great service. Ember and Edric are very helpful and friendly during my stay and helped me prepare celebrations with 5 star services. I will definitely come back when I visit Shanghai again.

The room was quite spacious. The city view was decent, but a Bund view would have been much better – unfortunately, I couldn't book one. Driving to the hotel was a bit tricky. The lanes opposite the entrance are only marked for left and right turns, but you can actually drive straight in. Custom Le Labo travel toiletries: Not provided. Stylish shopping bag: Not provided. Service: All the staff were very pleasant. The staff member who helped with my luggage upon departure even thoughtfully directed me through the restaurant to avoid the midday sun.

This hotel was the best in Shanghai. The room and hotel interior were so pretty, and all the staff were kind. The location is also the best because the Waitan and the shopping mall are close. If you come to Shanghai, I recommend you to go to the Edition Shanghai Hotel. I will go to the Edition Hotel again next time 👍🏻

The Edition is my all time favorite hotel brand and I’m so glad I got to experience it in Shanghai. The service was exceptional from the moment I got out of the taxi. Staff were already waiting to greet me and help with my luggage. Check-in at the front desk was smooth and every staff member I interacted with from the restaurant to the bar was incredibly friendly and spoke English well. My room was clean and had an amazing view. I highly recommend staying here. They truly went above and beyond my expectations.

Highly recommend staying at Edition Hotel when you are visiting Shanghai! It has spectacular view of the city, and just a 5 minutes walk from the Bund. If you have the time, do visit their rooftop bar and restaurant as well, it is amazing. I booked a 1 night stay and I was able to check in at 12pm. Best part of the stay- we got a complimentary room upgrade and was offered late check-out the next day as well, to my pleasant surprise. Upon entering our room, my partner and I were overjoyed to find a box of sweets, a bottle of wine, and chocolates, it really made our day. The hotel provides complimentary slippers and Le Labo shower set for you to bring home, and a variety of local snacks in the Mini bar (refillable). Do check out the hotel’s programme as well as they have quite a bit of interesting collaborations with notable brands, and special promotions for hotel guests. Special mention to the Hotel’s guest relations, Yeri, for giving us a tour of the hotel and being exceptionally attentive to detail. We would definitely book Edition Hotel for our next trip to Shanghai.
