Our butler, Colin, provided exceptional service that truly left a lasting impression. He contacted me before check-in to ask about any special requests and had already taken care of some things for us. The hotel is spotless, the environment is excellent, the views are beautiful, and the night cityscape is absolutely captivating. The breakfast was superb, and they even offer custom Le Labo travel toiletries. I'm very satisfied with The EDITION hotel and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai.

First and foremost, the hotel staff member, Colin, provided excellent and thoughtful service. I stayed at the hotel for four days, and every time I encountered an issue, he would resolve it immediately. He is truly a very competent, dedicated, and diligent employee. He made my stay feel incredibly reassuring and comfortable. I will definitely choose to stay at The EDITION again on my next visit. Colin is truly amazing. He even thoughtfully brought me desserts. The location of The EDITION Hotel is unbeatable. It's a one-stop shop for everything – close to the Bund and shopping. Absolutely fantastic!

The service here is arguably the best among all Marriott properties in Shanghai. The Le Labo fragrance in the lobby is as delightful as ever. Our twin room offered a variety of pillow options, and the space and decor exuded extreme luxury. The check-in experience was incredibly grand, with stylish Le Labo amenity bags. The in-room chocolates and welcome fruits were also of the highest quality. The bathroom hardware was high-end, and the hygiene was impeccable; even behind the bathtub, it was spotless. My only minor gripe was that I spent quite a while trying to figure out how to operate the bathtub shower. However, the ceiling height and soundproofing in the twin room weren't the best. For better views and a more peaceful night's sleep, I'd recommend opting for a higher-floor king room.

Fantastic stay, and a big shout-out to Eric for his excellent service! The hotel experience overall was great. The room was clean and comfortable, the facilities worked well, and we had a very pleasant stay. A special mention goes to Eric, who proactively contacted us a few days before check-in to ask about our needs. When we arrived, he helped us with our luggage, and since it was for a birthday celebration, he also assisted with the room decorations. He was attentive and professional, which really enhanced our stay. Of course, all the other staff members were very welcoming too!

Colin from guest relations was attentive and considerate, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free stay from start to finish. My previous experience at The Abu Dhabi EDITION exceeded my expectations, so I decided to try The Shanghai EDITION. The hotel's location, ambiance, and facilities are top-notch, and Ms. Ember provided professional, prompt, and excellent service. 👍 Since I checked in during the Mid-Autumn Festival, the complimentary fruit platter included mooncakes, which was a lovely touch. The double afternoon tea at the 27th-floor YONE restaurant, with its stunning views and delicious food, is also worth a try. Breakfast is a semi-buffet, and I highly recommend the freshly made specialty Shanghai dim sum, such as crab shell pastries, potstickers, and soup dumplings.

I had a very satisfying stay. Right after I booked, I received a call from the hotel informing me about a road closure. I added the butler, Colin, on WeChat, and he gave me detailed directions for both the subway and a taxi. He also took great care of me throughout my stay! Highly recommended.

Nestled quietly on Nanjing Road, this hotel offers convenient access to everything. The first floor hosts a Western restaurant, which also serves breakfast. Each night, we received a complimentary dinner set for two, and the quality was excellent. The service details were meticulously handled in every aspect. This is definitely a hotel I'd return to.

Absolutely fantastic, impeccable service, amazing staff. The room is exceptionally comfortable with a fantastic review of the Bund, especially at night. I cannot recommend the Shanghai EDITION highly enough. Should be your number 1 choice for a Shanghai stay.

Great location and service. They just need to update to USB-C charging outlets in the room. Also if you are working in the room during daytime suddenly lights will turn off and curtains close as the sensor will not see you when working at the desk. Stand up and things will go back to normal but a bit annoying.

A big thank you to Bonnie at the front desk for upgrading my room and patiently answering all my questions. All the other staff members were also very friendly, always greeting me whenever we met. I also really loved the hotel's Le Labo scent and ended up buying a few bottles to take home. I will definitely choose The EDITION again next time I'm in Shanghai!

The hotel is right on Nanjing West Road and very close to the Bund. The rooftop bar has an amazing view, and you can see the “Three-piece Suit” (Lujiazui skyscrapers) from the room. A big thank you to Ember for the chocolate and fruit! Breakfast was delicious too. I'll definitely choose The EDITION again next time I'm in Shanghai. The hotel's custom Le Labo scent is so good, and they even gifted a custom Le Labo travel amenities set.

Great stay overall, could be more tech enabled I couldn't get points for booking on OTA. Doors were a bit thin
