Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Pudong Zhangjiang
4.8/51742 Reviews
Pudong Zhangjiang District
I stayed for almost two weeks and overall it has been a good experience. After a hiccup with a towel, the manager of the hotel ensured that my room was cleaned more thoroughly. The room itself was quite small. The huge glass wall made the room look a bit bigger but for some reason some random people were hanging out right next to the window and I could see trash outside of the window on a regular basis. The breakfast buffet was quite repetitive the first week but got better in the second week. Overall, simple home made style food that I generally enjoyed. I’d recommend this hotel for a short stay. It felt a bit too pricey considering it’s location (far from the city center) and the range of services provided.
Holiday Inn Express Shanghai International Tourism Resort

Shanghai Disney Resort
Location was convenient for Disney. We didn't explore the area around the hotel at all. The rooms were nice and clean with typical amenities. The breakfast was mostly Chinese style with a few bread options. There is a train that passes nearby that could cause a noise disturbance if your room is facing it. My room was not and I thought it was nice and quiet. Overall I'd stay here again if I was going to Disney.
Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Gubei
4.8/52849 Reviews
Hongqiao District
Great stay again ! Happy to return back to this hotel. Convenient location for leisure and business mix. To get to both hong qiao , Pudong and downtown via taxi or metro which is about 5-10 mins walk. Staff are super helpful with any enquiries, courier help and welcoming - makes you feel at home away from home. View from the back is local hood, front is park, they don’t allow outsiders to roam around upstairs , deliveries are by robot to the rooms. Small self service laundry down stairs with a few cardio machines.
Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Hongqiao Linkong
4.8/5779 Reviews
Hongqiao District
Located in the technology park where the world's top 500 companies are clustered, it is surrounded by regional headquarters of global multinational companies, with convenient transportation and parking. The hotel looks like it was renovated in the past one or two years. It is relatively clean, modern and tidy in Holiday Inn Express. Although the hotel lobby is not magnificent, it is also shining and full of style. There are refreshments for rest and free tasting. It is equipped with a laundry room, a gym, and a Chinese restaurant. The room is neat and clean, and the decoration is the unified standard of Holiday Inn Express. The elevator and the corridor are equipped with fragrances without odor. The breakfast is very rich and is relatively complete in Holiday Inn. Western food, Chinese food, juice, milk, drinks, and fruits are available. The service staff is also warm and kind, especially Miss Hong at the front desk. She is responsive and answers all questions. It feels like home. The only thing that is lacking is that the fitness equipment is relatively simple. There are two or three in the laundry room. I hope that more can be added in the future. It would be more perfect if there is an independent space. There are also fewer washing machines and dryers than other hotels.

Zhongshan Park Commercial Area
Very convenient location. Place were quiet, near the Suzhou river. Hotel it’s self was good as well. Good enough for those who came to know Shanghai but prefer to stay out of the shouting areas. 🤓
Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Jing'an Temple, an IHG hotel

Huaihai Road Area/Xintiandi Area
This is a lovely, friendly hotel that is ideally situated at Jing’an. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable, clean, tidy and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious with wide selection of food choices available. The staff are very friendly and helpful with excellent service. I’ll definitely come back next time.
