Hotel28 Myeongdong

A great place to stay with good service and very delicious food. It’s close to shopping areas and restaurants, and you can walk there easily.

Great size room and location for the price of the hotel! Staff were all very helpful and friendly, especially the maintenance man who came to sort out my AC. Good stay in Myongdong.

Our five-day stay at 28Hotel in Seoul was fantastic. The staff were over the top attentive and super helpful. The location in the heart of Myeongdong is unbeatable. We loved the ambience of this hotel, made even better by the warmth of the staff.

The hotel overall is good , clean and convenient. But the worst thing is that there’s no hanger or holder in the bathroom . There’s no holder for you to put your shampoo or face cleanser .

Excellent stay! Hotel is located right in the heart of Myeongdong and close to subway entrances. Our room was across from a number of very busy restaurants, yet the soundproofing was robust enough that the room remained quiet inside. Service was great throughout our stay; the hotel team generally came across as sincere and friendly and most spoke English well. Front desk was kind enough to allow us to check in when we arrived early, and also provided a slightly later check out on request (note that the property wasn't overwhelmingly busy during our stay, so YMMV). No issues with water pressure as well, which I understand can be an issue with hotels located in the older buildings in the area. Only real downside was that Uber wasn't able to stop at the main entrance of the hotel, which can be a bit of a hassle if the weather isn't co-operative or if your traveling party has any members with mobility concerns.
