"We stayed for a week and really enjoyed the location, lots of bars and restaurants nearby, yet the hotel was quiet at night. The place itself was comfy and cozy. However, the housekeeping service was disappointing. They only took out the trash and did not provide any other cleaning throughout our stay, even though we specifically requested a full cleaning, especially for the bathroom. Also, the stool in the room broke while my husband was sitting on it, which was unexpected. Overall, great location but the cleaning service and the proper maintenance need improvement."

"Located in the Dongdaemun district, the hotel is just a minute’s walk from a nearby seafood market & across Travelodge hotel. The surrounding neighborhood has a few eateries and attractions, but it requires some walking to reach Dongdaemun History & Culture Park. The stretch from Euljiro 4(sa)-ga Station to the hotel is lined with shops selling doors, faucets, and other household items, along with the usual convenience stores like CU, GS25, and 7-Eleven. Myeongdong is fairly close—just two train stops away (a 5–6 minute ride). Bringing luggage can be challenging due to the lack of escalators in the station and the approximately 10-minute walk to the hotel. However, we found exits 7 and 8 particularly useful, as they remain underground, providing shelter from rain or snow, and lead to street level with less than a one-minute walk to the hotel. The hotel was overall clean. Although it was supposed to be spring during our stay, the weather was highly unpredictable, with temperatures ranging from 1°C to 10°C. The AC control was a bit confusing—while the translation was understandable, only hot air came out regardless of the temperature setting. After contacting hotel management via WhatsApp, we learned that during winter or cold weather, only the heater function is available, so we had to open the windows slightly to regulate the temperature. The hotel provides UK-style sockets, and the toilet seats are heated (a nice touch!), but the bidet function wasn’t fully operational—only the female bidet setting worked, so adjustments were needed. The tea was particularly good, and they replenished it daily, except on our last day when they didn’t provide more. Laundry is available above the 8th floor, with 2 washing machines & 2 dryers. Both machines requires 1000 Won coins & a machine to change paper notes. Staff are available from 9 AM to 11 PM, so plan accordingly. For assistance or information outside these hours, you can contact them via WhatsApp, Line, or KakaoTalk. Overall we had a good stay, clean, friendly & helpful staff. Locality was ok but if you want instant access to eateries & other POIs maybe you’ll want to reconsider."

"The hotel is very close to Exit 8 of Janghanpyeong Station on Line 5, and you can find the hotel in 5 minutes on foot. There is a 711 convenience store on the way, and there are also places to eat on both sides of the street. The hotel is located on the inner side, very quiet and quiet. The staff at the front desk are very kind and friendly. Even if they don't speak Korean, they can communicate in English. Check-in is very fast. The hotel room is very clean and has basic supplies. Every time you enter and exit, you will greet the guests kindly. It is a very comfortable experience for those who travel alone to Seoul for the first time. If there is a chance, I will choose this place again."

"The location is very convenient — just a short five-minute walk to the train station, right next to Dundemon Market, and with a convenience store nearby. The room was modern, new, and well-equipped. The only downside was that the room felt a little small, without much extra space for luggage or moving around. overall it was a very good choice for our trip."

"Convenient location - very accessible by airport shuttle Room is clean and tidy but not very spacious as it features a massage chair which would help you relax after a long day. If you have 2 suitcases, it might be better to unpack at least one of them. Service is ok and standard - no wow points. Rate is not very cost effective, we know we mainly pay for the location - if you are looking for a good location & clean room, it could be your option."

"The hotel is easy to find. Baidu map is easy to find. It is 700 meters walk from Seoul National University of Education subway station. The hotel is convenient and fast to check in. However, the sound insulation is relatively poor. The design of the faucet is a bit designed... The sink is very small and inconvenient. The drain plug is broken and not repaired in time. The shower room does not have sufficient water. The glass cups in the room have water stains and stains 🫆 handprints and are not cleaned up. The bed is still comfortable."

"I stayed at this place with 3 other girlfriends. Everything was fine and dandy until the morning of our 3 day staying there. Right when we were getting ready to head out, a man opened the door and was taking his shoes off in our room. In shock, one of my friend greeted him thinking he was a housekeeping staff. He looked equally shocked seeing us in the room. Then he apologised and quickly put his shoes on n headed back out to the elevator. My friend asked him if he works at the hotel he says he is staying on the 10th floor. We proceeded to head to front desk to inform them of what just happened. The two female staff just kept talking to each other in Korean and I heard the word ‘master’ in English. I’m wondering if they had programmed his key as a masters key. I have absolutely no clue why or how it happened and they didn’t even try to explain just apologized and offered us 2 bath bombs. I asked them to get back to us on what exactly happened as there is only one unit per floor and who that person is. Didn’t hear back from them. Just saw 2 bath bombs in our room that evening. Even during check out they never explained to me what happened that morning. Security: zero stars"

"I thought it would be great considering the price plus I've stayed there before in mainland China. But I was a little disappointed. Although the facilities are maintained, you can tell they are old. Especially the shower water is sometimes hot and sometimes cold... I was a little dumbfounded how could there be such a problem. For breakfast, if you are staying for several days, I suggest you don't buy it every day because there are only four sets to choose from. But they are very exquisite~ and delicious. The overall service is great, nothing to complain about. Especially the front desk lady is super good. She helped me call a taxi. I needed to change the address temporarily and she ran out to confirm with the driver. It's great. The attitude is also very good. There are people to help with luggage when getting on and off the car👍🏻👍🏻"

"도심지에 있어서 접근성이 용이하고 주변 식당가도 많아서 먹는거 걱정하지않아도 되네요. 양치도구, 샤워타월이 지급되지않으니 챙겨가셔야합니다! 숙소안에 일회용품자판기 없으니 챙기시구(바로앞 편의점 있음) 전국적으로 산불이 나서 입실이 힘든 상황이었는데 선뜻 무료취소 도와주신다고 하여 CS에 감동했습니다~ 직접적인 피해 이재민은 아니지만 지원근무를 나가야해서 애매하던 상황이었는데 친절함에 감동했습니다! 입실까지 9번에 가까운 통화로 체크인 도와주셨고 체크인시간이 늦으니 문자로 안내도와주셨네요"

"Booked a deluxe room and thought it’d be the usual — but nope. It was way more spacious than I imagined, and seriously clean. Like, toothbrush-on-the-floor clea n 🤣 If you're a clean freak like me? You'll love it. Location? 10/10. Literally 5 mins from Cheonho Station. Super easy to get to Jamsil, and catching the airport bus? No stress at all. Now let’s talk about the staff — absolute angel🥹. I got lost (as usual lol) and called them, and they guided me so kindly and patiently like they knew I was bad with directions. Made me feel safe right away. Also, foodies listen up: So. Many. Options. Tons of local gems nearby, and delivery? Fast and endless. I was in my pajamas, eating bossam, living my best life. Would I stay again? 1000% yes. Clean, comfy, convenient — and just good Seoul energy all around."
