I would really recommend this hostel. The room was very clean and staff was very friendly. But the best was location - super close for the famous stream and food market!

Very nice I've been tried it twice there with friend a year ago. The place is look like scary and dirty outside and smelly sometimes but when you are inside your room is totally fine and clean.

The hostel is located in a small ally, and it’s close to a bunch of tourist attractions. The rooms are clean, nice and warm.

I recently stayed at Hostel J Stay in Seoul and had an excellent experience. The location is incredibly convenient, especially if you're arriving from Incheon Airport. It's easy to reach by taking the subway to Line 2 (Green Line) and getting off at Euljiro 4-ga Station (Exit 4). From there, it's just a short walk—about two blocks—and the hostel is on the right side. You can also take buses 173 or 104, making it accessible no matter how you travel. The hostel offers great amenities, including a kitchen with free coffee and tea, and fresh towels are provided daily. The staff is friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions or recommendations. The area around the hostel is perfect for exploring, as it’s located right behind Gwangjang Market, near the Cheonggyecheon Stream, and just four subway stops away from Myeongdong, one of the most vibrant shopping districts in the city. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it easy to meet fellow travelers. I loved my stay here and would have extended my week if it hadn’t been fully booked. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Seoul!

Sufficient but not comfortable, i only recommend if you want to save money over comfort

Stayed in the single ensuite room, the room was very clean, and spacious. The shower in the toilet was strong, hot water was available, body soap and shampoo provided. The only issue is that I did not dare to open the window above the bed as was worried wasn’t supposed to be opened and the dirt will fall on my bed. The location was good, different train stations and bus stops within walking distance. The staff was friendly. Overall a good experience.

Room is ok, very basic, small beds. No big towels. Communal kitchen available. Location ok.

Good location close to the river and train station. The floor heating wasnt working well, we told the staff and they provided the portable heating which was good. There is kitchen with free water and coffee. There is lift as well.

We spent three nights at this accommodation, and the location couldn’t have been better. It was super convenient, with easy access from Seoul Station when we arrived and a straightforward trip to Incheon Airport when we left. Public transport options were everywhere, and there were plenty of app-based bike rentals nearby, which made getting around even easier. For the price, it was a fantastic choice - a comfortable and well-connected place to rest after busy days exploring.

The room was good enough but it shows that it’s an old building. The AC made a lot of noise and the facilities in general could use an upgrade. We didn’t get any information from the front desk when checking in (not even about where the common area is, where to find towels,..) but aside of this, the stay was good. Subway and bus stations are within a few minutes walking distance. I think it’s a bit overpriced for what you get but still a decent enough option to stay in Seoul.

The bathroom had no lock and the towel is quite small, other than that, everything is great!

Staff are good , the common kitchen is comfortable and always have the basic needs like coffeexl, tea, hot water and toiletries .. Really a value for money
