Tazawako Lake Resort & Onsen Reviews

The service is good considering that I couldn’t speak nor understand their language, they could still make you feel welcome and feel good about the service experience stay. The onsen was a first for us and it was an amazing experience.

We took this because it is the cheapest in the area. It is 15 min away from tazawako train station. Ask the hotel to pick you up. Otherwise by taxi, it will probably be 3000 yen? The breakfast and dinner are 18000 and 52000 yen. So either book with the meals included or please buy food before checking in. No shops around that area.

Perfect for those who aim for skiing and snowboarding. The dinner is a buffet with wide range of selections but if you want a King crab to be included, you need to inform the hotel prior your dinner otherwise no King crab at all. Room is ok for its rate and parking lot is wide. Overall is ok.

We stay 2 times very good hotel

The hotel is on the mountainside and Nipple Hot Spring is on the mountain. It is best to travel by car. There are few buses. It is best to check the bus time! The hot spring hotel is relatively old-fashioned, and the rooms are very big. Most Japanese people live there, but few foreigners! But there are Chinese students doing part-time! There is a Guanyin Bodhisattva in the hotel isolation, and it only takes about 5 minutes to walk there! The hotel's dinner and breakfast are both buffets, and the food is mediocre, not much surprise! There is Aeon supermarket only at the bottom of the mountain, so it is best to go to the left supermarket before entering the hotel before going up the mountain!

The room is very spacious and clean. There is an open-air hot spring. Overall, everything is above the standard. Dinner is okay and breakfast is okay. There is a huge parking lot 🅿️

If you don't arrange dinner, there are no easy-to-find restaurants near the hotel, so if you stay in this hot spring hotel, it is best to arrange dinner here. Dinner is a buffet style, not particularly delicious. This hot spring hotel is actually very clean. Check-in can be arranged before five o'clock. It is a very good arrangement to drive 5 minutes to Lake Tazawa to watch the sunset.

The open-air bath in the rain felt really good. On the other hand, the dinner buffet had a wide variety of food, but the quality was not so good.

Location and service are good But there is a lack of information about the surrounding hot springs' holidays and transportation English is poor It would be nice if there were a young person at the front desk who was relatively friendly

The room was indeed renovated, but the bathroom was not. It was very old and super small. You couldn't turn around when you sat in it to use the toilet, and the bathtub was the same. This room is on the 3rd floor and faces the roof. The view is somewhat blocked. There is a pet room next door, and there are dogs barking all the time. The advantage is that the food is rich and delicious, and the price is very cost-effective for one night and two meals. There are streams and heavy snow nearby, but the hotel does not provide tour services, so it is impossible to go there. There are recreational ski facilities below the hotel, but they open very late.

Satisfactory service, but we stayed 3 nights, 3 days breakfast and dinner are all the same no change 😅

Zhonggui Zhongju Hotel. There is a self-service meal for dinner. It is very convenient to go to Tianze Lake.

We went from Kakunodate to Tazawako. Because we were going to Tazawako for sightseeing, we first put our luggage in the hotel. As a result, the front desk said that the room had been cleaned and let us check in first. The attitude was really very good! They also explained to us the bus route and time to Tazawako, as well as the bus time to pay attention to when we come back. Thank you so much! After visiting Tazawako, I soaked in the hotel's hot spring ♨️, which was clean and hygienic! At night, we had a buffet. They were all elderly Japanese tourists, and there was also a ********* tour group. They all paid great attention to dining etiquette! After checking out the next day, there was also a free bus to Tazawako Station! During the period, my little daughter left her mobile phone on the bus. After the driver checked the car, he immediately sent it over! My little daughter didn't realize that she had left her mobile phone. I really thank the driver! Like their service awareness👍!
