The hotel is a descent budget hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle. Its location is superior as it is only 5 minutes walk from the Westlake Station and in walking distance to many tourist attractions, including the Pike Flying Fish Market, Space Needle and so on. It is also convenient to travel to other attractions by the city public buses, the King County Metro. For budget travellers like us, it is really value for money.
The hotel is clean and safe with friendly staff and owner. The complimentary breakfast was a surprise and bonus to begin a day in a hectic schedule. The new owner has put in a lot of effort to improve its services.

The Dylan is a motel. Not a hotel. Room wasn’t ready but after waiting awhile we asked to clerk for any room that was ready and he upgraded us to a “suite”. 2nd floor, no elevator. Clean room but outdated. Lobby is tiny old small area. The room was fine for one night.

Free tea and coffee in reception 24 hours a day
Free breakfast bag that included water , fruit and cereal bar and a pastry .

It is very close to Amazon headquarters. When you check in, they will write down your credit card number and email.
The corners of the bed in the room are very protruding and scratch your feet.
All the noise in the corridor can be heard in the room. In the middle of the night, there were black guests making loud noises in the atrium parking lot and even verbally harassing women who stuck their heads out, but the hotel staff would not stop them and would say that this was normal. Leaving for the airport at three in the morning is safer and more comfortable than here.

Close to the city center, suitable for citywalks, free parking. The room is like a motel or inn, and is fine for a good night's sleep.
