Depending on your itinerary while in town, you can either rent a car or many guests rely on Uber and Lyft which are always available within minutes. - Although the home is waterfront, guests do not have access to the water (it is NOT safe to walk down the bluff). The house sits on a bluff about 150 feet above waterfront and is separated by a treacherous overgrown path. - The lawn to the right of the flagpole is not our property. There's no fence. Everything to the right of the flagpole is the neighbor's yard. - Home can be windy at times, given it is on the water - Given the strong westerly sun, it is hard to keep the temperature in the home consistent - Fireplace is not available for guest use - We have two outdoor cameras that are ONLY for monitoring package deliveries and for your protection. - Use the hot tub at your own risk - Use the gym/exercise equipment at your own risk Terms and Conditions, and those listed on the link above or herein, then the terms most favorable to us as the Host shall take effect. RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS Definitions: "My People". Shall include myself, my spouse, legal partner, guests, invitees, licensees, children, wards, heirs, assigns, personal representatives and estate, if any. NO REFUNDS - Even the best or newest home has equipment that may occasionally malfunction and cannot be guaranteed operational 100% of the time. We promise to act immediately to remedy any issues, however, we do not relocate or issue refunds due to malfunctioning equipment or any other guest dissatisfaction or due to construction noise or any other items out of our control, unless the home is considered uninhabitable. - All rentals with 28+ nights require a rental agreement signed naming and identifying all adult occupants (must present valid ID). No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible. -Please respect check-in and checkout times. Check-in: 4pm-10pm. Checkout: 10am -The maximum occupancy for the property may not be exceeded at any time. -Host will require a photocopy of renter’s ID for verification before check-in and formal rental agreement signed (digitally)-This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter. - Maintenance/Vendors schedule: we are unable to offer refunds or credits for inconveniences due to scheduling and maintenance done during your stay. While we expect the schedule days and times to be quarterly for Pool/Hot Tub maintenance; every other Friday for Landscaping maintenance - that can change without notice to us. Guests should understand that such vendors must be able to access the home as well as service the property so we request that our maintenance teams are not turned away if they should overlap your stay. -Absolutely no parties or loud music. -This is a NON-SMOKING property. -NO animals or pets of any kind are permitted at the Property except (1) as specifically authorized in your reservation, or (2) bona fide service animals that we are required by law to allow. Emotional support animals are not permitted except as authorized pets. You agree that a prohibition on animals is not a guarantee that an animal has not been inside the Property or that the Property is free of animal or pet allergens. If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have their reservation canceled immediately. Late Checkout Policy Guests must check out by the designated checkout time specified in the rental agreement. Late checkouts without prior approval will incur fees to cover costs including, but not limited to, waiting times for cleaning crews, canceled or delayed cleaning appointments, hardships on arriving guests (e.g., delayed check-ins or compensation), additional wear and tear on the property, and increased utility usage (e.g., electricity, water, or HVAC). The fees, based on the duration past the checkout time, are as follows: • Less than 1 hour: 10% of the nightly rate or $100, whichever is greater. • 1-2 hours: 15% of the nightly rate or $250, whichever is greater. • More than 2 hours: Full nightly rate. To avoid fees, guests are encouraged to coordinate with us in advance for late checkout requests. Approved late checkouts are subject to availability and may incur additional charges as agreed upon. These fees are designed to compensate for disruptions to property turnover and operational costs, and we will provide documentation (e.g., cleaning schedules, guest complaints)
