Its a lovely old house, and very central to shops, cafes and "The Cottage", a very delightful restaurant a few hundred metres walk up the street. Would definitely stay again next time we are passing through."

"We had the worst nights sleep at Strathearn Park Lodge during our recent road trip. The bed was "very hard" and the room had an over powering odour, it was hard to describe at the time, but it made me feel ill. I have since found out that Strathearn Park Lodge is pet friendly, so I am now thinking the odour could have been in the carpet and was enhanced by the fireplace and the reverse cycle air conditioner, as the night was very cold. The lounge chair in the room was also uncomfortable, there were no springs or "give" in the seating, it was like sitting on a bench seat. A Continental Breakfast is available, the pot of tea was nice and hot as well as plentiful. Parking is under cover in a tin shed adjacent to the house. Stay very alert when looking for this place, it is located in a "100 km/h zone" on the New England Hwy from Scone to Mussellbrook as the Lodge is not readily seen from the Hwy at speed. Not even "Waze" was able to assist us. A sign 1 - 1.5kms prior would help to alert drivers."

"Great centrally located place to stay a few nights in Scone. The only negative was that the shower was in the bath but apart from that this is a great place to stay. Comfortable, quiet and has all the modern cons that you need"
