"Few words: truly delicious in a still authentic context of the place. A few steps away is the very cute Chianalea and the seafront of Scilla. The structure has rooms and apartments with daily cleaning done by Mrs. Maria (very good and very kind), fruit always available together with the coffee machine with pods, plus a fridge and kitchen to organize a dinner to enjoy on the terrace overlooking the sea on the 2nd floor. TV both in the rooms and in the common area on the 1st floor and obviously wifi. The owner who manages the reservations is assisted by a very good collaborator, Massimo always, always available and for excursions and / or rentals the Balboascilla, in the person of Rocco who manages it, also super organized. In front there are many beaches, personally I have been to Lido Francesco, 2 minutes walk from the structure so very convenient as well as being very valid. Sorry if I have gone on too long but the Balze really deserves it, I highly recommend it, they are really good and attentive to everything. Have a good holiday!"

"We had the most perfect stay with Casa Vela. They had a special Luna di Miele suite for us at the very top of the B&B overlooking the sea. The hospitality we received from Alessandro was unbeatable. The food at the wine bar café was excellent. Hands down the best freshly baked chocolate croissant we have ever had. All of the staff were lovely, Natale took excellent care of us for our nightly aperitivo and digestivo."

"This accommodation is at a great location in the middle of Chianalea, close to the dock where the daily catch comes in, many restaurants and a few shops. We were on the 3rd floor and the view was great out over the sea and of the neighborhood. In fact we could even see the Stromboli volcano! The room was very clean and the room systems up to date. The building is equipped with energy-saving measures such as the electrical system is activated when you place your key card in a slot. This is something encouraged in some locations. The only issue is that the AC shuts off when you leave and you can come back to a hot room that will take time to cool (only a problem on hot days). The owner was friendly and helpful. In fact, when could not get us a taxi, he drove us to where we needed to go (the next town) and did not want to be paid."
