"The overall value for money is pretty average. First, the hotel layout is a bit messy, making it easy to get lost. To get to your third-floor room, you have to walk through the executive lounge area, which is awkward as you walk through the dining area with your luggage. Furthermore, your room is located near the breakfast restaurant and the pool access, which doesn't provide much privacy. Second, breakfast is a relatively simple set menu, and personally, the portions are too large and greasy for breakfast, more like a meal. Third, I have to complain: for a hotel of this price, guests are charged extra for using the palapa lounge chairs by the outdoor pool, which is a bit surprising. They also don't provide free disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste; they require a separate fee. While Shanghai hotels don't proactively provide free toothbrushes and toothpaste, if you don't bring your own, the front desk will provide them free of charge. In this regard, shouldn't other hotels in this price range follow suit? Fourth, it was the first time I'd encountered a five-star hotel with a welcome fruit plate of three small tangerines, the size of ping-pong balls, which was a bit shabby. Finally, the room was quite small and the layout was illogical: on the left was the bathroom and dressing room (this was the first time I'd encountered a bathroom with a toilet in the dressing room), which was one area; in the middle was the washroom (sink) in a separate room, and on the right was the shower and bathtub. I personally felt this layout was inconvenient. After showering, I had to go through the middle bathroom to the dressing room on the far left to change clothes. Furthermore, the room itself was quite small, and dividing it into three areas made it feel even more cramped. Overall, this hotel, aside from its eye-catching exterior, prime seaside location, and friendly staff, was not worth the price. I'm not sure about the experience of the higher-priced rooms, but for me, the value for money was too low, and I wouldn't stay here again."
