Scenic Hotels in Dongxing

"This is definitely my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Dongxing. The location is unbeatable, right next to the border gate – I could actually see it directly from my room, which was amazing! 😱 The underground parking was a huge plus. The front desk staff, especially one lovely lady, was incredibly kind. Since I was traveling with elderly relatives, she went out of her way to make sure our rooms were close together for convenience. We only had breakfast included for two rooms, but she arranged for everyone in our party to have breakfast, which was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. 🥰 I visited the observation deck both during the day and at night, and I definitely preferred the nighttime view. The Vietnamese side looked quite bustling and impressive as well. It was a really great experience. I regrettably forgot my passport this trip; for anyone going again, I highly recommend bringing it along so you can cross over to Mong Cai – I'm sure it offers a completely different vibe and experience."

"The hotel offers great value for money; for just over 100 yuan, the facilities are excellent. The room is spacious, the shower area is also large, and the mattress is thick and comfortable. Overall, there are no major flaws. The room even has a smart speaker. I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again next time I'm in Dongxing for business."

"The hygiene and environment were acceptable. However, the breakfast and elevators were absolutely terrible – the worst Ramada experience ever. The breakfast was shared with the Vienna Hotel, which makes me wonder why I paid such a big price difference to stay at the Ramada. I could have booked the Vienna directly for a more economical price. If they don't physically separate the two hotels, it will only ruin the Ramada's reputation. I won't even comment on the quality of the breakfast being on par with Vienna's, but the fact that people had to scramble and queue for it was appalling. Some people, including elderly and children, even grabbed fried noodles directly from the serving trays with their bare hands, which was disgusting. There were five elevators in total, but their efficiency was low, and there was no distinction between hotel guests or different floor levels."

"A few areas of the room were a bit dusty, but otherwise no problems. Clean modern furniture, comfortable bed. I had a good view from the window"

"Advantages: After looking around, this is probably the best-located guesthouse in terms of scale, environment, facilities, and resort vibes of Wanwei Golden Beach. The price increase during the Spring Festival was acceptable. The staff were very friendly, the parking lot was sufficient, there were several charging stations, and a laundry room with dryers – all very practical. The beach is right outside, though not in the center of the beach, making the beach cleaner. Being further west, it's less crowded, even during the Spring Festival, making beachcombing very comfortable and convenient. There were tons of golden shrimp, snails, hermit crabs, and mini sand crabs. Summer might be even better, with three swimming pools for swimming. Breakfast was supposedly complimentary, including eggs, porridge, soy milk, noodles, and fried noodles – enough to fill you up if you're not too picky. The seafood we had cooked at the hotel on New Year's Eve tasted significantly better than what we had outside the day before, even though the price was similar. Disadvantages: The room facilities and furniture were of average quality, the interior was rather basic, and didn't match the perceived luxury of the exterior. Also, the sofa could be cleaned better. Overall, staying at Wanwei Golden Beach is the best choice, and I highly recommend it."

"Although at the beach, the whole hotel is a faint fragrance and not smelly at all. The sanitation is still relatively clean. Needless to say, the scenery outside the window is absolutely amazing. The front desk service is also very good. Any problems can be solved in time. The recommended two powder shops are also very delicious!"
