"The furniture is dated, especially the carpet in the room. The cleanliness was poor; although the room was cleaned, the bedding wasn't replaced. The bathroom sink had poor drainage."

"The ”Red Castle” is a 4-star hotel, well-suited for tourists. The restaurant is quite good, offering an extensive selection of dishes and always fresh fruit. The building itself is huge, spacious, and features a lavish, beautiful interior. It's meticulously clean throughout. The staff is polite and attentive, with Russian speakers available at the front desk. A large, covered rooftop pool offers stunning views of the sea and city skyline, making it ideal for sunbathing. Our 'super-suite' room came with a bathtub (not just a shower) and was fully equipped with all necessities, though bathrobes were not provided. While a bit remote from the city and shops, shuttle buses run in four directions. The hotel lacks extensive private grounds. A shuttle bus takes guests to the beach, which is nicely sandy. However, sunshades and services are notably scarce there."

"overall it’s a good hotel and everything works fine , but if you need to be close to Dubai downtown it’s too far and traffic has become an issue. The room smelled strange and bed pillows i found uncomfortable as well as the bedlinen smelled old/ not good not fresh it annoyed me a bit . the room was comfortable and quiet and the bathroom nice . If the location doesn’t matter it’s a good choice . The area around it has nothing to offer lots of traffic , better don’t walk around there"

"There was a inconvenience during check in as the receptionist told us that they couldn’t find our booking. Then I made a call to trip.com. It took 30 minutes to get this matter resolved."

"The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and clean, but unfortunately there is no parking and there is no refrigerator in the room. It is close to the Sharjah Corniche and the Sharjah Museum, and close to the mosque. I was really successful in my choice."

"We had a nice time in the hotel. Rooms were clean and nice. Total value for money. 30 mins from Dubai mall/Burj Khalifa. Staffs were always very helpful."

"(Please note: we ended up having a FAMILY SUITE - ocean view (free upgrade because they were full). Not the Standard Family Room with City View, as is titled here.) We had a great time here. The room service menu is great and we ordered a lot from it and didn't leave the hotel - we chilled, looking at the wonderful view of the water/city side, and ate room service for all our meals.The staff are lovely and welcoming and the water view is nice. We were happy with our stay. The wall is really cute, with no painting, but a desert photo as a full-wall mural. I only stayed at non-smoking hotels during the rest of our UAE stay stay, except this one - I could smell cigarette smoke sometimes when in the toilet room. Must be the vents. The carpet could do with a removal and put wood instead, as it smelt a little smokey but not that noticeable and you don't have a balcony or window. Smoking in hotel rooms seems to be an option in the UAE, given booking options at many hotels in the UAE. Overall, I had a nice time here and would stay there again for a day or 2. We were there to be close to Dubai Airport for the next morning's flight.  Again, the staff were lovely. The sofa bed was comfortable for my son. Next door is a tall building being constructed, so you may hear some noise, depending on how close you are to that - just ask to be away from that side. We were literally on the end wall and closest to it and it wasn't a bother really. We were upgraded to a family suite, on the 16th of 17th floor! It was so roomy and fantastic. So many cupboards and space and you can completely shut the door in the adults room and the kids could be out on the double-bed sofa couch. "
