We only came for a drink but stayed for a couple of cocktails. Janis (apologies if spelt incorrectly) was very welcoming and spent time chatting to my wife and I, mainly about our football teams (Bolton - me PAOK -him and his family in Australia. He is a credit to this hotel and he also makes the best Pina Colada's we have ever experienced. If you are nearby you need to head to the pool bar to try one of these, he also does a mean Negroni and Margarita. Very pleasant

BREATHTAKING VIEWS, Perfect location near Fira and all shops, great staff! I wasn’t sure before booking because it wasn’t directly in Fira but upon arriving I was completely sold! The hotel is perched directly in front of the sea so our view each morning was absolutely stunning! We rewuested the caldera honeymoon suite but I think our room was much bigger thanks to the hotel - we had a separate bedroom, living room, kitchen area and our hot tub inside had a direct view of the Aegean Sea. It’s located in Imerovigli- which is just 5-10 minutes max from Fira but still has the same oceanic view!

One of the most stunning places to wake up to in the morning as you open your door and the staff are there with your breakfast. Very clean .all the staff are very respectful and polite. A special thanks to the staff that made the amazing creations on the bed. The only down side is that you must train for the many steps.

Beautiful, romantic hotel with amazing views. We stayed for three nights in a deluxe room. Staff were amazing. They helped us book a restaurant for the sunset view. Breakfast can be served to your room, which is lovely.

We had an amazing stay at On The Rocks. We immediately felt welcome. The staff at the front desk took lots of time to tell us about things to do and where to eat in the area. We absolutely loved Eva who made fantastic drinks at the poolside bar. She also taught some useful Greek words! The room was cozy and had a private balcony with a view of the caldera. Breakfast was delicious and could be ordered to the room. 110% recommend.

What an amazing vacation! We last visited 15 years ago and have always said we would return and it did not disappoint! We stayed in a suite that had plenty of room, tea coffee making facilities and a fridge. Sunbeds and a table on the terrace. Housekeeping super amazing, loved the daily towel creations. All staff were super attentive and nothing seemed too much trouble, huge thanks to the porters carrying our luggage up and down those steps! Breakfast was included with a fantastic choice, we chose to have it delivered to our terrace each morning and was perfect with an amazing view. Fairly centrally located and just far enough out that you don't tend to be bothered with all of the cruise traffic. Thank you for an amazing holiday!

Excellent front staff, we polite and courteous. Had our room ready when we arrived even though we were 2 hours early. Housekeeping did an awesome job of paying attention to details and also leaving adorable towel arrangements each night that we were there. We ate breakfast in our room and it was perfect, on time. Just as we had ordered and hot. Most important, the location is excellent, our room, room #12 had an awesome view and they roped of the area so there was enough privacy all through the evening. Normally a lot of tourists walk by to get pics. Loved how the walkways to the hotel are not so crowded even in the busy season because they close it off. Strongly recommend this hotel. It’s about 10-15 minutes from Fira but there are plants of super markets here.

The On the Rocks hotel is very nice and has a beautiful water view. The concierge, Maria Maria was very helpful every day with a bright smiling face ready to assist us. The breakfasts were amazing! Be aware there are many steep steps at the hotel and throughout the Imerovigli area - but the views and sunsets are amazing.

We stayed at On The Rocks during our stay on Santorini. Not sure where to start.... everything was near perfect Starting with our arrival the staff met us when our driver dropped us off near the hotel. The staff was welcoming and our suite was ready. The suite was very spacious with a beautiful bathroom and double walk-in shower. Outside, we had a comfortable terrace for sitting/sunning and a jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was served each morning on our terrace. We happened to be there on my birthday. Our server surprised us by joining my wife and signing Happy Birthday to me that morning. The views were amazing, especially the sunsets. We really did not have to walk very far to catch the sunsets with minimal to no crowds. We were especially pleased that we were able to avoid much of the crowds that daily flood Oia and Fira. We typically had 1-3 cruise ships in port each day. This is not a negative, but you are going to encounter a lot of steps wherever you go on Santorini, even On The Rocks. On of the best things we did while there (besides eating and drinking) was a small group catamaran cruise. Our lasted about 5 hours long. This is a must do! Honestly, I do not believe you need to do a private tour....too expensive. Our group was 10 people (a couple from the UK; 3 couples from Australia and my wife and I).

Better late than never! Me and my wife went on a honeymoon during first days of august and we were a bit terrified beforehand because we never travel. Thankfully we made a right choice with the destination and more importantly the hotel! The hotel staff were superb and always there if we needed anything. We sent an email to the hotel a few months before in order to reserve the honeymoon suite and oh boy the suite had EVERYTHING. The view, private outside pool, breakfast served to your room you name it. We had an absolutely wonderful trip and we stayed there for 7 nights straight. I want to thank the staff starting from the receptionists to the poolside staff, (lets go Sharif!), poolbar restaurant manager and finally the piccolo who carried all our luggage during the crazy heat. If we had the chance to come back tomorrow, I would be packing already!
