"Chavignol is a hamlet of Sancerre, a small, romantic village full of charm. The Famille Bourgeois hotel-restaurant is part of this charm. The welcome is friendly, the staff and owners seem happy to welcome you as if they were friends. The room is spacious, as is the bathroom. The bed is comfortable. Everything exudes good taste and calm. Breakfast is made with quality products. With only twelve rooms, this boutique hotel has the charm of a family guesthouse. Just one small downside: we would have liked to taste the promising cuisine, but since there are only set menus and no à la carte menu, we decided against a large meal in the evening. Too bad, it was tempting, but... we'll come back for lunch."
