Doryssa Theorem Hotel
"From the reception staff to the breakfast personnel, everyone we encountered throughout the day had a smile on their face, radiating positive energy at every hour. The room was very clean and spacious. Its proximity to the harbor is a plus."
Nepheli
"Dirty! We should have left from the first moment and called the health department! Shame on our country! We stayed with my family from 20/07/23 to 25/07/23 by necessity after I had booked it with social tourism vouchers! We had planned to stay (before we went) another three days! I will only refer to our rooms! We didn't expect luxuries! Didn't we mind the small old-fashioned TV that didn't catch any channels or rust on the water heater but the phone in the shower and the short curtain in the bathroom that were yellowed by the passage of time? or /and/ the lera? On the balcony, ropes for hanging clothes and 3 clothes pegs! The small table and the plastic chairs for the balcony were on top of a wardrobe and they also needed cleaning! They changed our towels when the 5 days that were paid for by our cashier were now over and bearing in mind that we would stay another 3 days at our own expense! When we were leaving (and after he asked us for the legal sanction to cancel the reservation) we told him about the above (complaints) he told us that we had to tell each other from the first day to give us other rooms! In other words, he had more clearly, but he gave them selectively? We have been going every year for 15 years on vacations with and without social tourism and we have never encountered anything like this before! I am amazed at the good comments that some have written!"
Doryssa Lithos Hotel
"We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The service was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit small, but perfectly fine for our two days. Great sea view, small pool. It's a bit of a walk to the harbor, and it's quite steep. A scooter would be handy."
Virginia Hotel
"This is an absolutely super hotel, really (really!) well run by the the exceptionally friendly and helpful Fontini and her team. It’s just a bit uphill from the sea front at Samos/Vathi – say a leisurely eight minutes’ walk down to the sea and the main square, and perhaps twelve minutes on the way back up. The building is stylish and well-appointed. A small lift gets you as far as floor three, with the top floor a further staircase up. The place is kept impeccably clean – communal areas and rooms (with daily room servicing). A highlight is the roof pool area accessed from the third floor – with a small but perfectly useable pool (good for a few strokes per length, and, of course, cooling refreshment), sun beds, a shower and an outstanding view over the town and bay. The ground floor houses reception (from which you will always receive a friendly greeting whenever you pass), the breakfast area (breakfasts looked super, but I didn’t indulge), and a bar and terrace. I was welcomed ahead of my formal check-in time and allowed to leave my bags behind reception and use the pool; likewise after check-out on the day of departure. When I visit Samos again (and I sincerely hope I will), The Virginia Hotel will be my first choice."
Doryssa Boutique Hotel
"Great staff and great hotel A wonderful boutique hotel with great amenity in a great location. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and overall nothing was too much trouble. "
So Nice Hotel
"Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review for my experience at the mini club. I found two of the entertainers to be truly unprofessional: Kristel, the children's director, was unfriendly and lacked empathy for the children and parents, while Mirko seemed incompetent to manage the activities. Furthermore, I perceived some discriminatory behavior, which really bothered me. I believe an entertainer should be able to treat everyone with respect, which unfortunately was lacking here. I do not recommend the mini club service at this facility."
Aegeon Hotel
"Everything was perfect!"
Hydrele Beach Hotel & Village
"This is a great hotel. The service at the front desk is very good and patient. There is a beautiful woman who can speak Chinese."
Semeli
"A very pleasant experience after we changed to a room on a higher floor. The hotel is a beautiful boutique property, new and well maintained. Breakfast by the pool is excellent, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Access to the hotel is quite challenging, as it is located up a steep incline from the main road. The hotel has its own parking area, but the climb from the parking lot to the reception can be difficult for older guests because of the steep slope. There is also access via stairs, which can be challenging in hot weather. Perhaps the hotel could consider installing an outdoor elevator. Otherwise, it is a very beautiful hotel overlooking Tsamadou Beach."

Samos Bay Hotel by Gagou Beach
"We only went to use the beach. But I wouldn't choose it again. We had pizza. It was very unsuccessful. Prices are above average. Food is tasteless. They charge extra for beach service. But the sea is clean and beautiful. Despite that, I wouldn't go again. The facilities are very inadequate for a beach."
Kalidon Beach Hotel
"Friendly and spotlessly clean hotel. Perfect stay in the centre of Kokkari. Boutique feel to the decor. Rooms were small but well equipped for storage and also free air con. Breakfast was just right. We visited the sister hotel and used the pool and bar, which was very good but preferred the Kalidon Beach hotel for its proximity to the town/beach."
Nafsika Sea View Apartments
"Great location! Silent retreat with stunning views! Amazing host. The rooms are so spacious an and clean and the views from the rooms are breathtaking, it’s great value for money."
Aphrodite Samos Suites
"Fantastic stay - the team are all so welcoming and friendly, they can’t do enough for their guests. It has a real family run feel to it. The breakfast is lovely, and the owner makes fantastic breakfast pastries regularly - sitting out under the olive trees listening to the local nature whilst eating breakfast has been wonderful. Samos is the most relaxing place we have visited, so peaceful & this apartments really allow you to enjoy that, location is also great - it’s towards the end of the row of tavernas and shops etc so you don’t get any noise but still extremely close and only a minute walk out of the hotel grounds to get to a lovely mini market and bar. The beach is also at the entrance to the hotel and easily accessible with sunbeds and pool bar service throughout the day. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained and the views out to sea are lovely. The view at the back of the apartments is also incredible - every time we walked up to our room all you can see is mt Kerkis and the views surrounding it. The welcoming at the hotel (and in kampos in general) from all has been fantastic and we are already looking to book for the near future to return. Thank you for a fantastic stay."
Armonia Bay Hotel
"My sister and I had the absolute pleasure of staying in the Armonia for a week and it definitely ticked all the boxes. From the moment you arrive you immediately relax…the incredible view, hotel ambience and very welcoming staff ensure your checkin experience is positive. Our rooms were nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. We were very impressed with the restaurant…breakfasts were delicious and the lunch/dinner choices are all great. Admittedly the lunch/dinner menus are quite limited (as you would expect from a small hotel) but there are many restaurants nearby to experience. We found the tranquil location to be perfect and having a car allowed us to explore the island. The pool is fabulous but if you feel like a dip in the ocean, it is only a few minute walk to a lovely beach with beach club. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and very happy to meet all our needs. I can highly recommend this family owned hotel and would absolutely return in a heartbeat. Thanks Alex, Helene and Marius for an unforgettable week."
Proteas Blu Resort
"A beautiful hotel with amazing staff. Professional, very helpful, friendly and always with a smile. Excellent location with the best amenities. Sunbeds, beach towels, drinks. Cocktails and food on the beach. Close to town with easy access by taxi. The hotel offers the most beautiful views of the island Will definitely be back. Samos you were absolutely amazing."
Hotel Ledra
"Ledra Hotel Kampos Samos May 2026 Jet 2 Holidays Week away with friends at the Ledra. Lovely homely hotel. We paid for Bed and breakfast which we enjoyed, cold meats, cheese, boiled eggs and cake. They will also make you a fresh omelette or fried eggs with bread. Nice tea and coffee. Nice pool and bar where they do food and drinks. Rooms nice we had room Number 5 with a sea view and a large balcony. We had an upstairs area with two extra beds. Very airy room. Fridge with small freezer compartment we took cooler blocks and bought ice from the supper market which is just down the road. Hairdryer attached in bathroom. Clean towels and sheets twice during the week. Nice sunbeds and pool. They leave 6 bottles of water in your room for when you arrive only €3.50 great value and nice touch. The water in Samos is not drinkable. Demetrius helps with your bags up the steps on arrival which is nice. We ate in a few different restaurants all nice. We went in Bridge Bar and Evie Bar after we had eaten. Live music on an odd night (not the best singer but entertaining 🤣) We had a couple of days on the beach Flavour had very comfy new beds with nice drinks. I didn’t get bit by mosquitoes 🦟 but our friend did. We used skin so soft and had a plug in. Air con €8 per night. We didn’t need it at the beginning of our week but we did towards the end of the week. Hotel do a weekly BBQ which was lovely and plenty of food. Lovely staff included managers, bar and cleaning staff. Mixture of nationalities staying at the hotel which was nice. Kampos had enough restaurants and bars but think we will try a different area next time. We will be back to Samos. We got a taxi home one night from Nick the Greek restaurant only €5. On the first day we hired bikes 🚲 to go up and down the road to see the strip well worth it only €5 per day. We did a boat trip with Cleopatra €55 each which we thought was a bit expensive. We picked the boat up locally, I must say the lunch was very nice on the boat. Sea shoes are needed for the beaches in Kampos. Sea was cold at this time of year but we still went in 😁. Pool was nice temperature. Overall fantastic holiday."
Samian Mare Hotel, Suites & Spa
"Samos is beautiful Kokkari , Pythagoreio to name but two places .The hotel is outstanding, amazingly clean wonderful pool area and dining room. The rooms are again fantastic with the cleaning staff do a grand job. Katrina and all other staff are lovely and friendly always greet you with a smile!"
Doryssa Seaside Resort
"Nice time"
Erato by Samian Mare
"Erato We arrived quite late in the afternoon and we were kept a proper hot meal which was so lovely and very welcome. Beautiful 24-hour hotel, very modern, welcoming and spotlessly clean. There is a seating area at the back of the hotel, it’s totally enclosed. We never saw anyone using that area, we overlooked it from our bedroom. The Erato isa completely separate building to Samian Mare which is only a hop, skip and a jump away. The only thing at Erato was a roof top restaurant where you could watch a beautiful sunset whilst eating your meal, but you had to pay for this unfortunately. All the all-inclusive facilities that you enjoyed on your holiday food/drink/entertainment/pool, were next door at the Samian Mare. We paid Greek Tax on our arrival which is an extra cost to factor in 10 euros per day. The Erato had 2 lifts (one a bit dodgy wasn't opening properly) or stairs if you prefer. Large TV in reception to watch the world cup, which a lot of guests were. Lots of comfy chairs and sofas. Bedrooms Towels are changed every second day as long as you leave them on the shower floor. Bedding is also changed every 2 days. Housekeeping were super-efficient and very helpful. Fridge, Aircon which is ultra-modern and very efficient, safe. Our room was lovely and big, I think it was a family room as it had an interconnecting door to the next room and a large sofa bed. The ensuite is comprised of partitions of frosted coloured glass. Separate shower, static overhead shower head with separate hand held shower. Separate toilet. Toiletries’ provided shampoo only/shower gel/hand soap. Hopefully you're sharing with someone you know very well as there's very little privacy. The sink was in the bedroom which is bizarre. Once in the shower there’s nowhere to hang your towel, but there is a large gap over the door, so we used that. Tea and coffee provided (instant) little milk sachets, we took milk from the buffet. Bottle of water in fridge first day, and you could refill this bottle free in reception as it’s encouraged not to buy lots of plastic. We had a room at the back of the hotel; our room literally had no view just looked onto bamboo but it was very quiet and our room didn't get hot. No where to hang wet costumes on the balcony which I feel is quite important. 2 chairs and a small table on a nice size private balcony. You can rent pool towels for 10 euros which you get back once returned. Towels can be exchanged every 2 days. Beach Literally across the road is a pebbly beach, right next to the harbour, take water shoes. Water was very cold but lots of people in the water, quite shallow quite a way out. Sunbeds and umbrellas free if you’re staying at Erato or Samian Mare. Small changing cubicle and separate shower. No toilets, but you could go back to the hotel, was a bit of a pain to be honest. You can bring drinks down to the beach from the pool bar at Samian Mare but there is no service from the hotel to the beach. There i"
Casa Cook Samos - Adults Only
"We could not accommodate due to reasons beyond my control. A hotel that is not customer oriented. They did not respond to any of my emails. They made no effort to alleviate our suffering."
Samaina Port Hotel
"Beautiful family, quiet holidays in this small hotel, just in front of the Port of Karlovasi,in Samos. Easy to visit from there all the beaches and attractions of Samos island. Restaurants and so many people around, but apparently good isolation,so not noise inside. Very helpful and kind stuff! I enjoyed every morning my coffee in the veranda (lucky to have booked sea view rooms)just admiring the beauty of the sea in front of me.Unforgettable breakfast at the cafeteria just beside the hotel,I want forget the pies… Absolutely recommended! We will definitely return back."
Samaina Inn
"Visited Samos for the first time and Samaina Zion was a lovely hotel. My bedroom was incredibly spacious and the bathroom huge. You cannot fault the staff who work incredibly hard - the cleaning staff early in the morning around the pool area were a sight to see! I have never seen an area be as thoroughly cleaned before!! The dining area staff are incredibly attentive either tables being cleared and cleaned very quickly . Food is very nicely presented and hot / cold as appropriate. The lady at the pool bar was so friendly and although the cocktails are a bit basic, they tasted nice! The wine is good, not rough and my friend was quite happy with the beer. If you want to splash the cash occasionally on a cocktail from the inside bar, you won’t be disappointed! There is a small beach opposite the hotel with free dinners and umbrellas. Good idea to take beach shoes as it is quite pebbly but the sea was lovely and clear. We went up to the beach further up the coast one day and sat by the Hippi bar which served lovely food and drinks, well recommended! The only criticism I have is the entertainment, or lack of it! When we were there you could do Pilates or yoga on the beach early in the morning and there was table tennis and z gym which I didn’t investigate. On Monday and Thursday there was live music which I’m afraid was fire!! Greek night on Wednesday was a bit better with people encouraged to join in dancing but it still wasn’t all that great. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here, as I say the staff are incredible. Probably wouldn’t stay again but only because of the location, a bit too far from anywhere."
Ino Hotel & Suites
"Absolutely fantastic hotel! Everything was spotless and exceptionally well looked after, with stunning views that made our stay even more special. The attention to detail was outstanding, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommended! A special mention has to go to the staff – they are the true stars of this hotel. If you stay here, make sure you find Odysseas! He genuinely made our stay unforgettable. His local knowledge, thoughtful recommendations, and ability to find the perfect solution for anything we needed were simply outstanding. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, and he always went above and beyond with a smile. The level of service he provided was exceptional. Odysseas, we absolutely loved meeting you, and we'll definitely be coming back – not just for the hotel, but for you too!"
Anna Studios
"We paid and booked these studios after reading good reviews about, however on arrival we were housed in the ajoining jasmine apartments, definitely a down grade ,tatty room dreadful so called “ kitchen eauipment ,the view from our “patio “ was of the smaller pool which was surrounded by broken and dumped furniture ,the bar was never open ,our inc breakfast was awful ,placed on the pool bar ( not even a cloth ) ,cold pizza, cold hard boiled eggs ,cold coffee that was reheated every day so was stewed ,only fruit was bananas and apple ( one day no bananas) when we politely complained to owner he shrugged his shoulders and didn’t speak to us the rest of the week ! So much for Greek hospitality,we’ve stayed in many Greek b&b s and this was the worst breakfast ,the only good thing to say every where was clean ,such a disappointment,Samos great ,this accommodation bad"
