"I had a pleasant stay at The George Hotel. The location is excellent and very convenient, especially for visiting Stonehenge. The room was clean and comfortable, and the heating with adjustable temperature was a big plus during winter. Breakfast was served on time and was decent. Overall, a good value stay with a great location."

"The room we booked was converted from a mews, which was a completely new experience for us and quite surprising in an interesting way. Almost everything else was fantastic. The staff were extremely kind and friendly, and the breakfast was excellent — you really have to try the Indian spice omelette. They also serve coffee and tea to your table instead of self-service, which felt very decent and welcoming. The breakfast staff in particular were warm and attentive. However, because the room was converted from a mews, the facilities have some limitations. The ventilation is not good, and we experienced allergy symptoms after having the air conditioner on all night during winter. There was no proper heater in the room, so we had to rely on the air conditioner for warmth, and it took about 15–20 minutes to start working. Also, it did not feel very clean when in use. Another downside is that there is no real window — only the mews door — which makes the room feel a bit closed-in and affects air circulation. Overall, this hotel offers wonderful staff and an amazing breakfast, but the room facilities and ventilation, especially in the converted mews rooms, could be improved. If you are sensitive to air quality or prefer natural light and windows, I would recommend choosing other places or other rooms instead of the mews-style rooms."

"Very satisfied with hotel facilities and services. Arriving early, I stored my luggage and received the room key. When I returned to the hotel in the evening, my luggage had been put in the room. The room is very clean: the bedding is very comfortable, the bathroom facilities are new and clean, There are heart-warming biscuits, freshly baked mini sponge cakes, and (heated) air conditioning; toiletries are made of 100% natural ingredients; the breakfast is rich and delicious; it is close to the train station, making travel convenient. There was a train passing by outside the window, but the sound insulation was good and the train stopped running at night, so it was not affected."

"Facilities: Some old hotels are hundreds of years old after all, but they are well maintained Hygienic: clean and tidy, but because it is a wooden structure, there is always a musty smell in the corridor, which cannot be removed. "Great apartment in a great location. Had some of my best away from home sleeps here as it was some much like being in a home. Had almost everything I needed with some minor niggles. Would definitely stay again. My niggles were: WiFi was poor, had to use hotspot to do Teams meetings and affected the TV which was slow and kept loosing the channel signal. Although lots of kitchen ware no small pans. The coffee pods were not very nice, reverted to instant. Toilet roll holder needs some sealant inside to help fix it (plumber trick)."
