He gave us a map and all the directions to see the best of Ronda, a magnificent place to eat where we also had breakfast (Casa Mari Jose) and also for dinner. I recommend it one hundred percent, and if I return to Ronda I will choose the same place."

"The room is clean, the hot water shower good pressure, the bed is comfortable. wifi is okay. room to small if you have big lugguge. there is no lift. But parking so difficult. Hotel claim free parking on the road side but it is very diffcult to get one. On check out I seek the reception to help standby at the car for a while but shw she just sook her shoulder. I then try find a space infront entrance of a house and the luckly the girl staying there allowed me to be there for short while I take my luggaage."

The service is very good. The hotel has reserved parking spaces in a public parking lot not far away, and parking is quite convenient (15 euros per day)"

Hotel Rural El Cortijo
"The hotel was very quiet, outside the town. We stayed for three nights, so we could relax very well. The pools were very quiet and uncrowded. The hotel was nice and rustic, although the facilities seemed a bit dated. The room had poor lighting, only the wall lights worked, and the closet was very small. The bathroom looked like it had been recently renovated, with a very large bathtub. The toilet cistern didn't flush, but maintenance came quickly and fixed it. The toilet seat wasn't to our liking, and the towels were brought to us in the afternoon. When I made the reservation, they offered the option of breakfast for €20. I asked, but they told me no, that they only offered room service, so the breakfast was charged depending on who served you. The dishes at the bar were hearty but a bit pricey. The room has a fairly large terrace, which we couldn't use because both the table and chairs were very dirty."

"This was our first visit to Spain and we stumbled upon this small, charming hotel while searching the internet for places to stay outside of Ronda. What a lucky find it was! Located in the countryside outside of Ronda, it is a unique property with only about 11 rooms. It is also very convenient to visiting some of the small charming Pueblos Blancos as well a spending some time in Ronda. We received a warm welcome from Julieta as well as very nice service from the rest of the staff. The owner (who was there the entire time) told us about the history of the property and how his family rebuilt it from ruins. (an interesting photo book documented the process.) He also provided excellent advice regarding which small villages to visit in the area. We had our dinners there each night and they were probably the most delicious dinners of our trip. Although the choices were limited, they were all very appealing so don't hesitate dining here. Both appetizer soups were amazing as well as the very tender and flavorful beef cheeks. (and they make their own unique breads as well!) We highly recommend this property and would stay here again if we are ever in southern Spain."

"What a great experience. This brandnew Hotel is an oase at short distance of Ronda. A friendly staff takes care of you. Grat food, greatrooms. Super beds and shower. There is a nice swimmingpool, a Gym and one can enjoy breakfast, lunch , drinks and dinner, both inside and outside. Staff is good reacties to requests. Great wines from the nearby winery. Great place for couples/ individuals that want to stay away from mass hotels with noisy people and screaming children. Really a place with class."

We were welcomed as swiftly and helpful also prior to leaving this morning the breakfast and help from staff was the best I’ve had."

"Great location! It's an 11-minute walk from the train station and 7 minutes from the bus station. The Alameda viewpoint is right next door, and just a few more minutes walk gets you to the Bullring and the New Bridge. The room was clean, compact, and well-appointed. I stayed in a single room, and the only slightly small part was the shower, otherwise, everything was perfect. Looking at the floor plan, other rooms seem to have bathtubs and are likely more spacious. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into the design and layout. Breakfast is included, served from 8-11 AM, with freshly baked bread and fried eggs, tomato sauce, three kinds of meat sauce, butter, jam, a glass of orange juice, and a choice of tea or coffee – very satisfying! Parking is €13 per day, and luggage storage is free."

It is a corner of heaven that I highly recommend, it is a location where you can relax and get rid of everyday stress. The peacocks are wonderful, they walk quietly and are not aggressive. They have horses, 2 swimming pools, a restaurant. Ronda is 5 km away. Love this place,thank you for all kindness!"
