Hotel Seri Malaysia Rompin ★★
"My second time stay at this hotel, room is big n comfort. Beach is not far n easy ro go."
HOTEL KONG JING
"Good Location for food"
Rompin Beach Resorts ★★★
"Needs a proper clean and a bit of upgrading, but kinda passable for a night. We had a room on the third floor of the main block and it was mostly clean - just the fridge that needs to be thrown away as the smell and mould was beyond repair. The shower didnt work that well - no pressure, didnt get very hot and didnt drain properly. But sheets clean and beds comfortable. Pool was okay and the kids enjoyed it for a while, just nowhere for anyone to sit comfortably around the pool. And all the "resort" facilities are so so dated and in need of replacement. Breakfast was basic. Location far out of town."
Villea Rompin Resort & Golf ★★★★
"The hotel is huge and features a golf course. Our room was right by a beautiful, long beach with a vast ocean view. The night sky was stunning, and the hotel also has a swimming pool. From bed, I could pull back the curtains and watch the sunrise. However, the hotel rooms are quite old and have a strong musty smell. It felt like there were very few guests, and staff seemed scarce. Many facilities were closed, and the dining options were quite basic."
Hotel Jeti Tg Gemok ★★★
"The hotel was clean and comfortable."
Hotel Vogue Rompin ★★
"Comfortable room for short stay. There is also a restaurant downstairs of the hotel, no need to go to the city to find food. Overall good."
Berjaya Tioman Resort ★★★★
"Beautiful island, lovely small-scale accommodations, and the people are friendly. Make sure to eat at the restaurant just outside the entrance; you can also rent scooters and book a snorkeling trip there. The hotel excursion to the turtle sanctuary is an absolute rip-off for 50 euros – definitely don't do it! Otherwise, a fantastic pool, good breakfast, truly a paradise."
Rompin Rainforest Lodge ★★★
"What a wonderful spot! The lodge is very tastefully decorated. The service is incredibly friendly. The food is perfectly fine. The tours are interesting. (Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, you can't do your own tours into the rainforest). We also saw animals: snakes, and many more… The restaurant area is fantastic. The sounds of the rainforest are a delight. It's a shame we were only here for two nights. I wish the team all the best in further developing their concept for rainforest conservation…"
Aman Tioman Beach Resort ★★★★
"The location is good. Although the resort is new, there's too much walking noise due to the wooden rooms. noise from people walking on upper floor planks can be heard. My bad experience is losing my health band after the room cleaning. Be careful of your belongings during your stay."

Minang Cove Resort
"We were so sad to leave Minang Cove today after an amazing vacation. The resort felt very quiet and out of the way and we spent most days just swimming and kayaking and relaxing with cocktails at the beautiful beach. For more adventurous types there is also hiking, snorkeling, boat trips and so on but we were happy to just chill. Our room was comfortable, clean, spacious and the best part was the large balcony overlooking the ocean. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We traveled with our toddler son and found the resort very family friendly with high chairs, cribs and toddler sized life vests. The beach is also really kid friendly with very calm, warm water which gets deeper very gradually. We really had an amazing time and considering what we’ve seen of the rest of the island, are 100% certain we picked the best possible place to stay. If you’re looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday in a beautiful place far from the crowds I couldn’t recommend Minang Cove Resort more highly."
Papaya Resort
"The location is very convenient near the pier, and there are shops and restaurants around. The room facilities are relatively old. It is difficult to get people to buy diving packages here, but the service is still enthusiastic."
Beach Shack Chalet
"Location is excellent. The shack sit on the beach. High tide the water comes almost to the shack. Beautiful view ,watching sunrise and full moon if you are lucky at night. April/ May tourists might be lucky to see turtles arriving on the beach at night according to the locals."
1511 Coconut Grove
"1511 Coconut Grove feels like something you read from a magazine that you never imagine getting to experience. Tioman Island is truly a magical place indeed and this resort is the most perfect location I’ve found! We will be coming back again and again. All local staff who knows hospitality standards of western travelers!"
Paya Beach Spa & Dive Resort
"An average hotel with a mediocre environment. However, the price wasn't particularly cheap either. Some rooms were right next to a smelly ditch, and I couldn't find anyone to order a drink from by the pool."
Japamala Resort by Samadhi – Age 12 and Above Only
"Beautiful place. Service is so so because you have to contact housekeeping through WhatsApp. Not very efficient. Food is ok. Not the best but not the worst too. Quite satisfactory. Can improve for sure. But definitely the best resort in Tioman hands down. Will go back for the view!"
Juara Mutiara Resort
"It is ok for a short stay. Rooms can get warm but there is AC. Internet was fine."
The Boathouse Pulau Tioman
"The boathouse teams very friendly and nice, the room clean and we have our snorkeling best snorkeling experience ever with the Boathouse diving teams. Overall our experience with our stay is very great, and definitely we will plan to go back soonest and plan to stay longer."
Melina Beach Resort
"Though this resort does not offer typical amenities like swimming pool, multicuisine restaurant etc., it offers much more for which beach vacation meant for. Best features are : private beach, golden fine sand, ample amount of tree shadow on beach, canoeing (without any charge), snorkeling etc. As number of rooms limited, it never feel crowded. They offer limited food menu, but food is good."
Cahaya Asah Resort Tioman Island
"Very friendly boss. Peaceful beautiful place to chill and relax."
Tunamaya Beach & Spa Resort Tioman Island- All Inclusive Package
"The rooms were kept pretty clean, though naturally, don't compare them to a luxury 5 or 6-star hotel. The staff were quite friendly. There are lots of monkeys around, so be sure not to leave any food unattended outside, as they're quick to snatch it. The natural surroundings are lovely, and if you have some spare time, you can hike up the mountain behind the hotel for excellent views."
Paya Debloc Village
"Room everything normal, no breakfast"
