Guest UserLoved our stay at this clean, modern villa. Super peaceful in Aprilâno crowds, just relaxing vibes. The boat and buggy ride to reception was a cool touch, and the scenery was stunning. Great spot for a quiet, luxurious getaway. Would be even better with more activities or things to do at night.

Guest UserExcellent, we'll definitely be back! My friends and I had a great time, and the food wasn't expensive. The only thing is the paint smell in the room was a bit strong, which I hope they can improve. Also, there aren't many entertainment facilities. Keep up the good work!

WT LiewI recently had the pleasure of staying at B&J Tioman Dive Resort on Tioman Island, and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, it was clear why B&J has built such a strong reputation among divers and travelers alike.
One of the first things that impressed me was the cleanliness of the accommodation. The room was well-maintained, comfortable, and spotless throughout my stay. Housekeeping standards were consistently high, making it easy to relax after a day of diving and exploration. The resort grounds were also kept clean and tidy, creating a welcoming and pleasant environment that reflected the professionalism of the entire team.
What truly made the experience special, however, was the people. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, approachable, and genuinely eager to help. Whether it was assistance at the reception, advice on local activities, or help with dive logistics, the team always greeted guests with a smile. The dive instructors and divemasters deserve particular praise. They were knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about sharing the beauty of Tiomanâs underwater world. Their enthusiasm was infectious and helped create a fun and relaxed atmosphere both above and below the surface.
As a diver, I greatly appreciated the balance that B&J strikes between enjoyment and safety. Every dive was well-organized and professionally conducted. Safety briefings were thorough, equipment checks were carried out carefully, and the dive guides remained attentive throughout the dives. Despite maintaining high safety standards, the team ensured that the dives remained enjoyable and memorable. Their familiarity with local dive sites allowed us to maximize our underwater experience while feeling secure at all times. It is reassuring to dive with professionals who clearly prioritize guest safety without compromising the fun and excitement of exploring the reefs.
Another highlight of staying at B&J was the abundance of delicious food available nearby. The resortâs location provides easy access to a variety of eateries offering local Malaysian dishes, fresh seafood, Western options, and refreshing drinks. After a day spent underwater, it was wonderful to have so many excellent dining choices within walking distance. The combination of great diving and great food made every day on the island something to look forward to.
Overall, my stay at B&J Tioman Dive Resort was outstanding. The clean accommodation, warm and friendly staff, professional dive team, strong safety culture, and excellent food options combined to create an unforgettable holiday experience. I would not hesitate to recommend B&J to anyone visiting Tioman Island, whether they are experienced divers, new divers, or simply looking for a relaxing island getaway. Thank you to the entire B&J team for making my trip so enjoyable, and I look forward to returning again in the future.

ChaogeFigures 1 to 5 are the interior and exterior of the hotel. The location is a relatively secret bay. There are about 20 such wooden villas in total. When you check in and leave the store, the staff will queue up to welcome you, but all employees will not be a little Chinese.
The so-called own beach, the water quality is not as good as near the public pier. Anyway, swimming, snorkeling and fishing are not good. There is basically no signal on the mobile phone. Only the hotel's own restaurant can eat. There is white rice (pizza, burger). Dinner needs to be booked before 14:00, otherwise you can be hungry. The price is not expensive, dare to say that he is poor, 18 MYR popsicles for your reference.
For foreigners who want to find a secret beach, after eating a free breakfast, they will mix from morning to night with a free beer. This hotel is very good for foreigners who are sunbathing on the beach. But for Chinese families like us who want to go swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and eating seafood, the holiday in this hotel has become a robbery, and everything can be achieved by the recent paya.
For this, you have two options: working time on a water taxi RM350; like us in Figure 6, an hour and a half back through the virgin forest full of mosquitoes and snakes...
Thank you for giving the hotel a âspecial forces survival challenge tourâ, and collect more than 500 MYR environmental tax before leaving!

The rooms are clean and relaxing, with many decorations and items made from local, handcrafted materials, which is both eco-friendly and gives the hotel its unique character. The hotel owner and staff are polite and sincere, without any noticeable commercial vibe. The natural environment is quiet and pristine, and the hotel blends seamlessly with its surroundings. Most guests here are couples enjoying their time together; we were the only ones with children during our three-day stay. We really loved this quiet, non-commercial holiday environment.
January is monsoon season, so the winds and waves were strong. We tried snorkeling on two mornings, but it wasn't amazing. The ecosystem here isn't as vibrant as in Mataking, Semporna; we didn't see as many types of fish, and there were more rocks, making the snorkeling environment less friendly than Mataking. However, the hotel stay itself was truly comfortable, and we felt the energy of nature â a great opportunity to relax. The staff and owner were fantastic and even personally picked us up and dropped us off at the pier. Their service felt genuinely sincere, unlike Semporna, where there's a strong commercial atmosphere, and you don't feel the same genuine human interaction, but rather more commercialism, and the room rates are many times higher without the corresponding service quality.
We love this kind of hotel vacation experience. It's filled with the scent of nature everywhere, with streams flowing through the rainforest, integrating the hotel with the sea â a resort that has both mountains and the ocean.
Friendly tip: The hotel carefully prepares all three meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). The food provided is consistently delicious, and although the prices are not cheap, it's worth it.

LikmusExcellent location, the chalets and the garden are very well maintained.
You will often cross monkeys, varses and mouse chips for those who like wild nature, sometimes even down your chalet or I fell nose-naked with a huge varn one night.
All is accessible by foot, knowing that the village of Juara is located only on a 2km band of maximum length.
There are plenty of restaurants and shops at less than 5 minutes walk from Juara Beach Resort.
We never eaten at the restaurant of the resort for the simple reason that it was closed every time we wanted to go there.
To also take into account that restaurants held by the locals nlontbpas fixed schedules despite Google's instructions so I recommend rather eat in the restaurants of the resorts that they respect the schedules.
I would like to point out that the beach of Juara is infested with veinous meduses and especially those in front of the resort its extension to the extreme north of the beach.
My daughter was swimming in very low water.
I don't recommend bathing at the time of the low flood between 15:00 and 18:00, in the morning no worry we never saw medusas.
