Family-friendly Hotels in Rome

The hotel is very luxuriously decorated and the rooms are large in size. We also have a welcome wine. Good location, opposite the US Consulate, not far from the Vatican. The service is warm and thoughtful. The service is very good, the quality of the toiletries is high, the heating is too strong and it seems that it cannot be adjusted. Don't expect to have a domestic five-star big and luxurious in a five-star room in the heart of Europe. The location of the hotel is relatively high, both luxury hotels and embassy banks

This hotel is a lovely oasis away from the tourist areas of Rome. There is a shuttle bus into the centre which is very efficient and we used this every day. Well worth it. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, although dated and we found it very strange that they provided every amenity apart from the two essentials we like in a room - tea/coffee making tray and bottles of water. They did supply 2 tiny bottles which were it till the next day which was nowhere near enough for 30 degrees heat! Very odd for a 5 star hotel to restrict water bottles.... On arrival, we were told our luggage would be sent up to our room but after an hour waiting, went to concierge to try and locate our cases but were told they were too busy and would have to wait till they brought them up. Couldn't take cases up ourselves. The staff in the foyer bar and light dining were excellent and the cocktails were first class. As were the housekeeping staff on our floor who always greeted us with a smile and 'buongiorno'. Breakfast was served either at pool terrace or inside and was extensive choice and very good quality . The scrambled eggs were the best we have ever had in a hotel! Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Cavalieri and would definitely return .

Everything was perfect. Set amidst the nature, its a perfect place to unwind. The pools are amazing and the food is good too. The cottages (or bunglows as they call it) are quite good and cozy except the washroom, which can be better. The overall experience was top notch. Cleanliness was on point. They have shuttle services to the airports and EUR Fermi metro which can be well used if planned in advance. The public bus stop is nearby as well. Would definitely recommend it. Great vacation spot especially for families with kids.

NAO TINHA DEIXADO E MINHA AMIGA QUA SAIU NO MESMO HORÁRIO ENCONTROU O DELA ARRUMADO. HOTE PERTO DO VATICANO, OMEU QUARTO ERA BOM, CEFA DA MANHA BOM , HOTEL DISPONIBILIZA DE UMAS VAGAS ATRAS DELE SEM COBRANÇA. NÃO VOLTARIA NESTE HOTEL POIS TEM MUITAS OPÇÕES EM ROMA E FOI O HOTEL QUE MAIS FIQUEI TEMPO E MAIS CARO DE UMA GRANDE VIAGEM E QUE ME DECEPCIONOU. The hotel location is very good, very close to the central station, taxi normally within five euros, but too close to the driver to make a detour to make money, Italy, understandably, we were detoured ten euros. The hotel is very beautiful, very good stay experience, comfortable, elegant, breakfast and dinner are great, wine is also very good, highly recommended!

Lovely stay at this hotel. Had a very warm and friendly greeting from the reception team on arrival. There was a slight mix up with one of our rooms being double rather than twin (which was likely fault of the 3rd party agent rather than the hotel) but they quickly rectified. We were also very pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary fizz on arrival. The rooms are well presented. We were in a family suite and the bedroom plus bathroom were very generous in size with reasonable amenities. Beds very comfortable! The roof terrace was a nice quiet place to relax & the ground floor bar was a great addition with wonderful service. Breakfast was good, a fair selection of options to suit most people, and the serving time period is very generous. As a location it is perfect - felt in the middle from both all the main tourist attractions of historic Rome, as well as Vatican City. It was a very quiet area, so a pleasant escape from the very busy Rome centre. I would 100% stay here again and will definitely recommend to anyone I know visiting the city.

I stayed for 8 nights in October. Prior to arriving I contacted the concierge for help with a very difficult dinner reservation that I had waited too long to make. They responded immediately and were able to arrange it for exactly the date I needed. Eleonora on the concierge desk was the best. The entire concierge desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I had sent my luggage ahead of time and they kept it safe for my arrival. The Spa was fabulous. Sara, at the spa desk, was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the NED treatment with Valentina on my first full day in Rome. She was so amazing that I made sure to squeeze in a second one before I left. If you’re lucky enough to have her there during your stay be sure to request her and say hi to her and Sara for me! The entire hotel staff was extremely friendly and professional.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Holiday Inn, the airport shuttle was not available to bring us from the airport but we were able to get it back so can't really complain. No problems with check in, the ladies on reception were very friendly as was everyone we encountered at the hotels. Rooms were good size, very clean and serviced every day. Breakfast has plenty of variety there is something for everyone, honestly if you couldn't find something to eat its not the hotels fault. The hot food isn't exactly hot but the hotel caters for large numbers so its not a cooked to order type of place and again if you want a full English this is not the place to go. We ate a few nights in the restaurant and to be honest if was very hit and miss, pizza was good as was the pasta dishes. we had the chicken one night and it wasn't the best. Kids eat free so added bonus. The gym is well equipped. the pool was being renovated so we got to use the pool a few minutes walk from the hotel again it would have been nice to be informed that the pool was being renovated just so we would have had choice about our booking but again nothing major about a few minutes walk. The bar is really lovely to have a drink and chill but the hotel when we stayed was very busy so didn't get a real opportunity to sit and relax there. No major complaints from us but would have loved a fridge in the room it was super hot outside and would have been nice to have the complimentary water chilled. On our last night a tour group arrived so there was a lot of banging of doors and people talking in the corridor late in the night, nothing the hotel can do about loud individuals being inconsiderate to those asleep but other than that a very nice stay. Reception sell the train tickets into Rome and the station is a short walk away. The area is a bit run down but that's nothing to do with the hotel. We would be back to see the renovations in the pool area. Thank you

We stayed 5 nights in this beautiful place. Excellent location, walking distance from the main attractions. Every staff member who we met with, were so nice and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic, many choices. Special thank you for Mario in the dinning room,who made our breakfast time exceptional. He went out of his way to make us feel very special.
