"My fifth visit to Risor, and staying at the Risor Hotel made it the best. Our room looked out on the water, with views of the harbor and little islands. Our stay was close to midsummer, and the views of the water during the night were very special. The room was sparkling clean, the beds very comfortable. Delicious breakfast, lots of choices, including herring (my favorite). Mona, the owner, greeted us at the front desk, and was helpful beyond anything I would ever have imagined during our stay."

"Extraordinary location, great view, multiple levels and stages on the campsite. Altough it is big, you feel like you are in a small place. The little beach is nice, and there is a great sauna that can be rented by the our via an app. They rent motorboats of different sizes, truly a recommended thing to do. In high season there are swimming pools and a "waterland" are immensely popular by families. Facilities vere very well maintained and clean. Surely one of the best camping sites in the country!"
