"Booked for 2 rooms with breakfast for 4 people; At the reception they wanted to charge us for 2 extra breakfasts: it was a good thing that we could prove that this had already been paid for when booking. The breakfast itself was as it should be and therefore fine. Then the restaurant: although it had a promising menu, the food served was sad, poor and barely edible. Example: a few large shrimps with dry spaghetti was called Gamba a la spaghetti: it was such a sad meal that they admitted it themselves and did not charge for it. The rooms need major renovation, especially the bathrooms. Anyone who takes a shower - behind the plastic curtain - immediately floods the rest of the bathroom floor. This hotel needs its own "Delta plan". The staff is generally friendly, but unfortunately there are a few who do not know Dutch and that is in Zeeland, the Netherlands. At the same time, I would like to emphasize once again that the name of the hotel is misleading: there is no BEACH in the immediate vicinity of the FLETCHER BEACH HOTEL."

"This is the worst fletcher hotel I have ever experienced. I don't know who has 4 stars but this is not even worth 2 stars. Very bad rooms. Only 1 power outlet. The curtains are too small. The shower is stuck at the top. No air conditioning in both the rooms and the dining room. No temperature control. Old beds. I could go on and on."
