"Lovely spot. Very elegant. Room was ok. A bit dated perhaps. Few stains on the carpet. Dinner was very good although a little more expensive than I am used to. Good breakfast. Accommodation was very good value."

"Wesley House is a real hidden gem of a campsite. We were amazed to find it peaceful and uncrowded even in August. Martin and Sam made us feel like guests, and have a policy of not crowding campers in like sardines. They seem to have found the balance between running a very clean and tidy site without making lots of rigid rules. There were nice hospitable touches like a kettle, microwave and fridge in the kitchen, books and games to borrow and picnic benches dotted around the site. The location is off the busy tourist trail but still less than 15 minutes drive from stunning beaches, and has walking trails on the doorstep. Already planning when we can come back"

The Cedars

The Cedars

📍 20 Church St, St Day, Redruth

"What can I say the cedars is a fantastic place to stay . I stayed here with my mum for 7 nights and can honestly say I can not fault it the room was spacious comfortable and very clean and tidy. The breakfast was amazing you help yourself to cereals fruits and yogurt croissant s and toast with home made jams and David cooks hot breakfasts to your liking . The B and B itself it lovely the conservatory when breakfast is served is lovely and look a over the garden where you can sit and watch the ducks potter around the garden which I really enjoyed doing. A lovely living room where you can sit of an evening and read a book or anything you want to do. The hosts David and Janet are fantastic and will do anything they can to help with your needs and David is very knowledgeable about the area so if you need advice on where to go places to visit then ask it never a problem. I found the B and B was quite central to most places that I wanted to visit . I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a wonderful stay in Cornwall to satay here you won’t find a better B and B than the cedars or better hosts I look forward to re booking a stay next year. Thank you Janet and David for a wonderful week away and look forward to our next visit"

Wesley House Holiday Cottages ★★★
"We stayed there for three nights during our Cornwall trip. We had the apartment with kitchen and living room upstairs and sleeping room on the ground floor. The rooms are in an excellent condition and the design is just lovely. There is a clear signature of the hosts who equipped the house with handcrafted interiors. We had a feeling of coming home when entering. One thing has to be mentioned. If you are a very tall person you have to be tolerant to the pitch of the roof which limits the height on the upper level. And, of course, just like for many roads in South West England, driving something like a Ferrari might get you into trouble. Here, only a short narrow road leads to the house which is not too much of a problem. The hosts, Sam and Martin, were also very lovely people. A great stay, a clear recommendation and we'd love to come back when coming back to Cornwall. Danke Euch Beiden! The Cedars ★★★★
"My wife Pam & I stayed for a week in early September. The room was spacious, with en-suite facilities. and was clean & cosy. It looked out over the spacious well-kept garden, with ducks running about. The breakfast offered a good choice, including the traditional English Breakfast, served in a well laid out conservatory, also looking out on to the garden. (If the weather had been a bit warmer, we would have had it outside on the decking). Janet & David, our hosts were excellent looking after us & helpful on places to eat locally & places to visit. The Cedars, with ample off-road parking, was very central for our days out, to many of Cornwall's sights & attractions. Thank you, Janet & David."
