"A wonderful friendly welcome from the lovely owner. The room was lovely and bright and immaculately clean with a really comfortable bed and awesome shower. The swimming pool looked nice but we are not swimmers or sun bathers so we didn’t bother using it as we spent most of our days out and about exploring the island by bus - the bus stop is a short walk from the hotel. The town of Rabat is lovely and easy to walk around with plenty of bars and cafes and the walk across to the fascinating Mdina only takes ten minutes or less. I nearly forgot to mention the breakfast which is superb and varied, with something for everyone. We had five nights in this hotel and really loved the experience and would definitely come again. We really could not fault it."

"Before check-in you get all the information needed to enter the property and to find your keys. The room was equipped with everything I needed, there was even a washing machine and ironing board, Wi-Fi was reliable, A/C efficient. Upon arrival I also found some snacks and a bottle of water on the table - very nice. Buffet breakfast (buffet lounge is on the top floor, part of which is a terrace) was sufficient - some cereals, youghurt, one kind of cheese, ham and salami, jam, marmelade, toast or bread etc. There is also a lift in the facility. The host is very kind, polite and helpful. The building is situated in a peaceful quiet area near the centre, about 8 minutes on foot from the "bus station" and 10 minutes from Mdina."

"We stayed one night in Room 1 and absolutely loved it! The room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and had a charming window overlooking the street below. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless with lovely complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was excellent — a great selection of cereals, fruit, pastries, and hot drinks, plus delicious made-to-order options. My double cheese omelet was filling and perfectly cooked. The location is ideal — just minutes from free parking, a short walk to Mdina, and surrounded by great restaurants (including the hotel’s own). A warm, family-run boutique hotel that we’d happily return to!"

"This place can be considered perfect. From the detailed decoration to the quiet location, everything is aimed to make your stay nice and cozy. The room is really spacious and has new furnishing. The toilet could be the one you find in a luxurius hotel. A full breakfast is also served nearby. It is highly recommendable. Thank you for a smooth stay."

"When the taxi dropped me off at the hotel, I remember thinking "no, this cannot be it, this is too fancy, did I book this?". But I was at the right place. Entering the studio/room I was even more baffled. I kept smiling, realizing I'd have this place all to myself for the next five days! Everything looks so fancy. The apartment is very spacious with a well equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom with a heavenly rain shower, cleanliness was good, large terrace with a nice valley view. There even is a washing machine and drying rack. The room is quiet, even though I could hear the road works in the distance (luckily my studio was on the other side). Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is great if you wanna be at a more quiet spot but still within walking distance to city center (15 minute walk to Rabat center). Good convenience store nearby. The thing I disliked the most were the pillows. Apart from that there are a few minor malfunctions such as the light in the wardrobe that didn't go out and the ventilation in the bathroom that would continuously turn on and off. All in all this is a great place to stay at a great location to explore Rabat and Mdina, as well as many other parts of Malta. Without a special offer this place would be above my budget but I do hope to stay at this place again!"

"For the exploration of the island of Malta Howard House is a perfect place into any direction. Just across the street you may visit Mdina with its historic sites, wunderful churches, informative museums and spendid views. Around the corner you may stroll through Rabat's ancient streets to see the catacombs where the Apostle Paul stayed during his forced visit after the biblical ship-wreck. For the bodily support many splendid restaurants may care for the needs of taste. Within 30-40 minutes you may reach many other inland attractions at ease. From the Air-Force museum to beaches, cliffs, gardens (St. Antons) and other places of interest. Howard House gives you home and breakfast in clean, modern rooms prepared by a very helpful and friendly crew."

"I was not sure what to expect but this hotel was just lovely. In an excellent location beside Medina and near the bus stops, We did not want a beach holiday but to explore the island and this was a great location to do just that. The room was very tastefully decorated and the bed very comfortable. Rooftop terrace and hot tub made a welcome end to the days. A very generous continental breakfast was served by the lovely Anita who was so kind and helpful to us, we will be back"
