Riad Amaris ★★★★

📍 10 Rue Lalla Hannou, Rabat Medina, Rabat

"We made a reservation for one night by phone at this riad, and upon arrival, we learned that it had not been taken into account. The riad was full, and to top it all off, no one answered the phone. This is not very professional for a tourist establishment."

Riad Jasmine

Riad Jasmine ★★★

📍 21 Rue Lalla Hannou, Rabat Medina, Rabat

"We had a wonderful experience at this riad. Perfectly located in the heart of the medina yet very quiet and peaceful. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The rooftop breakfast was delicious and generous, with great local specialties. The staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and always helpful. Their hospitality made us feel at home. Everything was perfect, we would definitely come back!"

"Excellent location and friendly staff. I didn't like the room very much, a little dated and also dirty. The bed was stained, I don't doubt that the sheets had been washed but if stains remain, treatments need to be done to remove them. Breakfast nothing special."

"I recommend this hotel 1000%! Everything is perfect and the staff is extraordinary; you're going to love it. The restaurants are excellent, and the breakfast buffet is magical. The rooms are top-notch. Everything is perfect. Thank you to everyone, Amine, Nouhaila, Kawtar, Youssef, and the whole team. Bravo and see you soon! Room 2003, May 13th to 16th."

Dar El Kebira Hotels in Rabat

Dar El Kebira

"The beautiful building is decorated in traditional Moroccan style. The decor in the room was nice The rooms were dark and long with bed on one end. Some additional lights would have been good. We felt a bit cold in the room and asked for a heater. Staff are really nice. The red shower curtain around the bath was not enough to stop water spilling all the floor, while showering. The sink was beautiful but impractical. As our room was facing the road, there was noise coming from outside almost all night long. Dinner was ok. Breakfast was below average. No choice for vegetarians. The website looks much better than the hotel. Certainly won’t recommend this."

"Beautiful hotel build over 100 years ago in Moor architecture style, conveniently located close to the center of Rabat. Luxurious and contemporary at the same time. Beautiful garden gives the impression of a separate world in which you can enjoy having meal or coffee or just enjoying the view and the sun. The buffet breakfast is not only rich in variety and quality but gives the guests opportunity to try some of the jewels of Moroccan cuisine and take the colours and flavours carved in their memory. The hotel staff is kind, polite and always near if you need help."

STORY Le Carrousel Rabat

"- Friendly helpful staff but expect slow service as is the case generally around Rabat. - Brilliant room and the hotel but not all amenities are live. The hotel very much is under construction. Not great for a pricy hotel. Was disappointed. Steam room was not on and you had to walk through construction to get to the spa. - The Spanish restaurant in the hotel was superb. - Location wise you are away from the centre but great if you want the beach."

Riad Louane Hotels in Rabat

Riad Louane

"This is a long but honest cautionary review to any tourists who want to avoid unprofessional establishments and shady dealings while traveling. Yes the pictures are nice, yes it’s clean, yes on the surface every seems on the level… However, the place is poorly managed by a Moroccan woman who hires people based on their relationship to her boyfriend. In particular a young woman who can’t speak anything but the native dialect and doesn’t have the common sense to call her manager when she doesn’t understand what a guest is saying. Why does this matter ? Because it cost me $1,500 worth of my injectable medications that I was traveling with at the time I booked this Riad. I had them in an insulated travel bag and asked if it was possible to store it in their refrigerator overnight during my stay -due to there being no refrigerator in the rooms. This, I’d done at several other hotels during my time in Morocco with no problem. I ASKED and said “if it’s not possible, I’ll just keep the medicine with me”. The employee, gave no indication of not having understood well nor did she confirm what I’d asked. I specified it was NOT to be put in the freezer, only in the refrigerator. Again, she simply nodded her head and took the bag. I repeated, “The refrigerator please, not the freezer or it will be ruined” … smiled and nodded her head and I assumed communication was clear. Well I later learned-from the night manager that she spoke neither French, English, or classic Arabic and she was the sister of the hotel director’s boyfriend. Why does this matter? Because the next morning- I discovered that my medication had been placed in the freezer NOT the refrigerator and had been ruined!! Because when I demanded to be reimbursed the cost, the director of the Riad chain refused to do that. Because this person isn’t capable nor qualified to deal with paying customers in this capacity of receptionist nor is the director capable of assuming responsibility for her errors in judgment and dealing ethically with problems that were precipitated by her bad judgment as management leadership. In addition to this incident, the copy of my passport was left out on the front desk for anyone to have access to, the money (hotel tax) I’d paid her upon arrival had not been noted or placed with the other money and the next morning- I was asked to pay again. 🙄 was it an honest mistake- possibly but who knows for sure? Is this any of this really important? Yes as it undermines your confidence and financial security in a business where you’re staying with your valuables and is the potential for possible identity theft if your passport info is left out for the public. I’m writing this review to inform the public of the irresponsible business practices and shady dealings here. Incidentally, they never reimbursed me. They then had two employees each call me on my personal phone number to beg me to retract my Google review (go read it) as the director had threatened to fi"

Euphoriad Hotels in Rabat

Euphoriad

"The hotel is very nice, and for a riad, the setting is quite modern. Welcome refreshments were provided in the room, and the reception was very warm. The location is great, close to Kasbah of the Udayas and the old town. I was very satisfied. The only drawback is that it is a bit small and has no courtyard. The swimming pool is on the rooftop, and it doesn't have the beautiful gardens and swimming pools that you'd find in other riads in other cities, but this is my favorite hotel I found on Rabat's hotel list."

La Villa Mandarine Hotels in Rabat

La Villa Mandarine

"The La Villa Mandarine Hotel in Rabat had a nice, quiet, and comfortable environment. However, the front desk service at check-out was extremely poor, the worst service experience I had during my 8-day trip to Morocco. I hope the hotel can improve the professional training of its front desk staff."

Riad Dar Dar Hotels in Rabat

Riad Dar Dar

"A great spot in the centre of the Rabat Medina. This Riad is not super fancy like some, but it was super clean, smart, modern and stylish. Our room up on the roof was a really good size and so was the bathroom. The place was spotless. Staff were super helpful. We dined at their sister Riad Kalaa both nights we were there. One of the best bits was that our side street came out onto the local food market - so we got to see real Medina life every day - not just the touristy bits."

"I had a short stay in Rabat, the capital, and I was very satisfied with this hotel. The hotel environment is good, the service is very professional, and the surrounding supermarkets and restaurants are not bad either. It's very convenient to go anywhere, you can ask the front desk to help call a taxi."

Riad Khadija Mille et une Nuit ★★★
"The riad's beautiful common area truly feels like a museum. But it's designed in such a way that you only enter it once, to fill out the check-in paperwork, take a photo, and then pass by. The location is good, not on the main streets of the medina, but close to the sights. There was almost no street noise. No breakfast. It was a waste of money. The room itself is authentic, with antique furniture, but completely uncomfortable. The room itself is tiny. You can hear it as if your neighbors were talking right in your room. There's very little storage space. The floor is old tile. The shower is also old, the plumbing needs updating, the sink leaks, and the toilet lid keeps falling off. There are no towel racks in the bathroom; the towels themselves are clean, but frayed at the edges. The service is nonexistent. It consists solely of staff who open the door for you and then check you in. Even if you arrive at 1:00 PM, you won't be checked in until 3:00 PM, even if the hotel is empty. The staff speaks very little English or French. The hotel is abysmal, but we and another group were put in rooms next door. When we complained about our neighbors' loud conversations at night, the hotel staff only said, "Arabic, Arabic," and offered no help. This hotel is more about the experience than comfort. So, if you do decide to stay here, here are a few tips to improve your stay. Bring earplugs and a sleep mask; your own toiletries; and your own slippers to shower in. If you're traveling in winter, bring warm pajamas, as the room gets cold."

"What a pleasant surprise to find such a wonderful Chinese guesthouse while traveling abroad! The room was spotlessly clean and tidy, which made for a very comfortable and reassuring stay. The hostess was incredibly warm and welcoming. She offered many helpful tips for sightseeing and dining, and was always ready to lend a hand, truly treating us like family. It's also very convenient if you're traveling for business. I'll definitely be returning on my next trip. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel is not as described. We were charged double tax even we had paid for it at the time of the booking. We were told by the manager he would look into it but never did. The reception staff was not helpful due to limited understanding of English. Lack of bath mats and hand towels throughout our 5 day stay. Definitely not the stars they claim to be."
