The hotel is very comfortable. I will stay there again next time. There is free parking. It is the first choice when going to Nyuyu Hot Spring. It is clean and the food is okay. The second night is richer than the first night. Guests can buy hot spring coupons for Nyuyu Hot Spring and can soak in the other ones. spa

Wonderful location - secluded near Lake Shikotsu. Great for scenic walks although not easy during winter snow. Walkable to the lake lookout at the Yumasen red bridge. Nice little onsen for evening / morning baths.  Great breakfast spread albeit a bit short (have to be done by 9:30am).

As the only option on the island, although the hotel is quite historic, it offers quality services and well-maintained facilities. Both breakfast and dinner are Japanese buffets, and I think the taste is pretty good. The hotel also arranges special activities, where you can watch sea firefly at night. Although you don’t go to the beach, it is still quite special. Rabbits can be found all over the island, especially near the hotel, where you can see them even from your room.
