Considering the price, I was expecting the room to be better. Non smoking room yet it smelled bad. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, when we ordered some drinks from outside; despite the robot being there, room service wasn’t provided. We had to step out to the front and collect the items from the bee hive box outside. Great location and very close to the subway. But it wasn’t the best view from the windows. The only restaurant there was expensive and didn’t have variety in their food option. Breakfast was very Chinese and I missed some good bread and cheese.

The room is small but well-equipped, cleaned promptly, and has a rich breakfast menu. It is very close to Metro Line 3 and the First Bathing Beach. You can see Xiaoyu Mountain from the window (Figure 1). The bedding is comfortable.

We stayed at Huanghai Hotel during the May Day holiday. The hotel is well located and close to the subway station (the roads in Qingdao are very congested during the short holiday, so taking the subway is the best choice). The hotel has a beautiful environment, with Huiquan Square and the No. 1 Bathing Beach in front, and a large area of ​​white-walled and red-tiled buildings in the back. Zhongshan Park is right next to it. This is a warm hotel. On May 2, my daughter sprained her foot in the scenic area. After informing the hotel, the hotel staff (didn't ask for identity or work number, but felt that they were the lobby manager and two concierges) helped us a lot as soon as we returned to the hotel. Not only did they provide a wheelchair, they pushed my daughter's wheelchair to the room, but they also found an air pump to help inflate the wheelchair tires for our use the next day. The staff also brought us a lot of ice cubes to help the injured part cool and reduce swelling, which was very touching. The water drop service staff of the 14th floor service department (didn't ask for work number, 5.2 and 5.4 were on duty) also warmly provided buckwheat pillows to make it easier to raise your feet while lying on the bed. All of this not only reflects the hotel's good management and strong service awareness of the staff, but also gives guests warmth and care. Next time I go to Qingdao, Huanghai Hotel will still be my only choice.

The Huanghai Hotel I booked for the May Day trip is in a good location, close to the surrounding attractions and the beach. The breakfast is rich in variety, and the staff is warm and professional. The shower head switching operation is troublesome and unclear. In addition, the takeaway can only be delivered to the takeaway cabinet downstairs. It is recommended to add a robot to deliver it upstairs.

The executive sea view room is newly renovated, clean and tidy. You can enjoy the sea view and the light show at the same time. The view is great. There are sand digging toys for children and children's toiletries. The most satisfactory thing is the service. The housekeeper Xiaoqu answered all questions and took the initiative to introduce the surrounding scenic spots and help to make an appointment to watch the sunrise. The auntie who served the room was very enthusiastic and patient. She was not impatient at all when I repeatedly disturbed her. Halfway through, we asked to put a few more bottles of water, and she brought a bottle of water directly. We were surprised and touched~ By the way, the location of the hotel is indeed excellent. It is close to the subway and bus. It is very convenient to walk to Xiaoyu Mountain, the Military Museum, and the beach to dig sand. The only shortcoming is that the room is a bit small, with only two chairs, but the flaws do not outweigh the merits. I will choose here again in the future

The service was very good. The concierge at 5262 was very enthusiastic and professional. They helped with the luggage and guided me to the front desk. The front desk staff at 8039 and 0171 helped arrange a very nice view on the 20th floor. They told me that there was an observation deck and I could make an appointment to watch the sunrise. They would call me the day before the viewing and leave a small note to tell me the sunrise time. The cleaning lady at 8200 cleaned very carefully. The tea cups and bathtub were cleaned very cleanly. I will come to Huanghai Hotel next time.

The view of the Blue Sea and Blue Sky King Room is as shown in the first two pictures. The third picture was taken from the corridor window, and the glass is too dirty. The restaurant on the first floor serves good Shandong cuisine, and there is also Guangdong morning tea in the morning, which tastes pretty good. The complimentary old-style bread is delicious. It is a few minutes' walk from the First Bathing Beach and is also close to Xiaoyu Mountain and other attractions. Overall, it is well received.
